theJUNK are a seven piece skacore band from Brighton,UK. theJUNK started in April 2008, and after writing and releasing an EP of very well received catchy ska/corepunk, they decided to recruit a brass section. 

theJUNK have a very strong DIY attitude and love to meet and play with people from all over the country. They believe the scene is important and should be supported whenever possible. 

theJUNK have filled out venues across England with bands such as Citizen Fish, Rentokill, The Rabble, Skaville UK, Mike TV, Too Many Crooks, 7dayCONSPIRACY, Dan Potthast, Random Hand, The JB Conspiracy, The Skints, Girlfixer and the obvious many more, as well as playing shows in Holland and Belgium. 

theJUNK recently recorded their second EP with renowned record producer Dave Chang - CAPDOWN/LIGHTYEAR/4ftFINGERS/KNUCKLEDUST etc (www.myspace.com/davechang). This new EP, entitled NOVUS ORDO SECLORUM, perfectly captures the new blasting, relentless, upbeat sound of theJUNK. 

The band have spent the last year or so relentlessly touring the UK, and are set to embark on a full European tour in July 2010. Upon their return they will be going into the studio to record their first full-length with the legendary Pete Miles (King Blues, Sonic Boom Six etc) 

Members of theJUNK have previously been in bands such as Once Over, Antilectual (UK), GROGAN, Another Day Lost, Heroes In A Halfshell and Captain Snake Eyes. 


theJUNK refuse to stand for racism, homophobia, fascism, sexism and will not stop fighting for equality.

S@NAV went to his first underground illegal party at the age of 17 and immediately fell in love with the vibes that came from the people that were there but there was one thing that especially caught his eye and that was the how the DJ could make the people happy so he set himself a mission to one day be that person that made the people happy. He started mixing shortly after his first free party experience and has since developed a love of most musical genres, he first started mixing progressive trance and soon enough his talent was noticed and he was asked to become a resident at Prog Box Digital. After a few years of mixing 4x4 beats only he decided to expand his skill set and explore what other genres had to offer and now he has a vast array of genres he can offer to the masses including Jungle dnb, Breakbeat, Speed Garage, Minimal Techno, Progressive Trance, Hard Trance &amp; Bassline.

Prizm, also known as Dj Skittles, is an accomplished DJ and emerging producer in the underground dance scene in the UK. He is highly recognized for his exceptional jungle and hardcore sets, although he is versatile and can play any genre. Prizm Aka Dj Skittles began his career in 2011 as a performer for Azma Sound System, FTP and Party Ard along with many other guest slots in various club and free party settings. He has since gained popularity and is now a regular performer at festivals such as Illusive Festival and Tear Out as well as playing for many event's up and down the UK and even France. Additionally, he has become a resident DJ for Submission Audio, Amen Warfare, and Karizma. As well as a prime time weekly slot on the Long standing Eruption Radio. Despite the challenges of 2020, Prizm utilized the quiet period to develop his production skills resulting in successful releases on Junglecat Records and Foot Long Records.

I produce and dj a wide range of stuff but the music I make is not necessarily what I'll play out I produce music as expression, ideas and journeys (many things not uploaded here yet) ....so if you see me playing live it could be anything from tek to jungle to breakcore to hardcore to frenchcore to booty to bassline  to punk to metal....or even something else...
