New year, fresh image, but still playing the same level of quality tunes. Time for another vinyl mix show! I ended up digging through a pile of '98-2001 bangers (with the exception of the 2002 opening tune) and got in a pretty good flow, it was good to be back again after a few weeks without the show with travel and Christmas holidays. I can't believe that all these tunes are over 20 years old already, they still give me tons of energy, and hopefully you too! Enjoy!

O hai!

Born and bred in Poland, where the Sun rarely shines and stolen German cars are most often found, I have been into and around drum & bass for quite a while, though my record collection expands into many different directions and genres. Yet, as the English language allows for the pun to follow, I like to emphasize that it all started from scratch :P Indeed, turntablism was the thing that drew me behind the decks and after all these years I still like to make use of what I've learned so far. However, as far as drum & bass is concerned, there are virtually no limits to what I play (with the small exclusion of the style embodied by McDonald’s most representative figure :P ). Also, I'm 1/2 of atmoteka - a series of atmospheric drum & bass mixes recorded by some of the most prominent producers and DJs who have made - and continue to make - significant contributions to the atmospheric side of drum & bass.

Originally from Amsterdam, and now based in Cambridge UK, Dr. Squee has been into DnB since before the turn of the century and DJing for more than two decades. Long time resident DJ on DnB radio Jungletrain.net, currently on a bi-weekly Tuesday evening schedule (21:00-23:00 UK time).
