I believe that pain leads to the most personal, meaningful art. Feeling trapped in ones mind, not know what the next step is, and being alone are powerful feelings that I focus on. Music is all I’ve got. So, spending a year on a song to express one feeling in a specific way, isn’t too far fetched. It’s in those moments of feeling something so heavily that it bleeds right in. Hopefully during those moments you can use our feelings and our stories to help push you forward as it has pushed us.
