Dungeon Dashing

Once upon a time there was a peaceful and numb world, it was all so boring... until the invasion began. The Blast Processor may have made some bullet holes, but it also made that world wake up.

This album is my repay for a lot of things and people I met in my life and made my mindset what it is now (a mess of beautiful gamey musicy stuff). Starting from my Genesis console when I was a kid, the games I played then, the people that I met who shared the love for that console and that sound the people that introduced me to the pure YM2612 music creation, the people that made me love and make chiptunes and the people that makes the tools so that we arttists can burst out all that love into music.

This version includes remixes by my awesome friends Jredd and swerdmurd!

You'll also find a ROM that you can load into your favorite Genesis/MegaDrive emulator (I recommend KFusion) or in a flash cartridge to play it in real hardware!

Ah, Habitual Crush. Definitely my favorite C418 song, if not my favorite song period. It's such an incredible song that creates an immersive atmosphere while still moving forward. It's all of my favorite parts about ambient music combined with all my favorite parts about techno music.

I knew I wanted to try and make a cover of it for the birthday thingy, but I knew that any attempt at replicating the style of the original wouldn't even come close to doing it justice. So instead, I tried doing something different. Hence, jazz! I'm really happy with how it turned out, it's probably the largest project I've worked on yet (definitely the longest). Hope you enjoy!
