Over the years while listening to Kelly Bailey's music I've discovered little tricks he's used that nobody else usually points out.  In Half-Life 2's soundtrack there is a song called 'CP Violation' which is later followed by 'CP Violation (Remix)'.  I've never thought twice about it until recently but perhaps both tracks used to be one entire track, and Kelly Bailey decided to chop them up into separate songs?

It's a bit of a stretch to assume this, but both tracks can be edited together seamlessly, and no other song in the entire OST has '(Remix)' at the end of its name.

Fun Fact: The name 'CP Violation' in this case has two meanings.  In the Half-Life universe 'CP' stands for 'Civil Protection', a voluntary police unit installed by the Combine to keep human citizens "in-line".  However in scientific terms, a CP violation refers to something no longer being C or P symmetrical and breaks symmetry.  This nod is likely intended, because the songs play when the player has to travel through canals filled with random pieces of junk and debris while getting shot at by Civil Protection officers.  In addition, another track that plays not to long after 'CP Violation' is called 'Broken Symmetry', further implying the scientific reference.

so here's a 22 day late special, whoops.

this is entirely comprised of the new earthbound soundfont that's been going around recently, as i just kinda liked using it.
this is also probably the most fun i've ever had making a song, even if it's not the best.
this took heavy inspiration from the halloween hack edition of megalovania (and obviously earthbound), but i also tried to kinda combine aspects from every version of megalovania.

so, now that i've run out of things to say, i guess i'll say thank you.
and also sorry for being lazy and not uploading often, it's just kinda in my nature.

okay, so the first part is basically a reupload, with a small bpm change and a little bit of mixing improvement. it's pretty much unnoticeable :p 

this was a lot of fun, motivation strikes in weird ways.
it's been hard to finish like, anything, and suddenly here i am messing with a pretty recent track and making a boss fight equivalent.

the context is, well, this is for a semi-serious project between irl friends. it's a conceptual RPG, that (despite having some friends who can code) isn't really going to get anywhere as of now. it's all just in good fun. i made a few characters and a bit of story for the overall project, along with some unreleased songs tied to these characters (detective marinus is by far the most developed, has concept art that i don't yet have permission to show off yet)

just this dumb concept has gotten me back into music slightly, and i'm having a ball with this stuff.
of course, it's not perfect. and criticism would be greatly appreciated. of course, 95% of the flaws if not all mentioned on the last upload are still there for the first song. however still, i really want to make my tracks as cool as possible. thanks for listening, and have a nice day.

Oh boy. Time for nostalgia train! I LOVE this song so much! FNAF was a great year in 2014 after Scott's failure to his games. But he never gave up on his dream as a video game developer.
