Pole Position is an electronic project based between Barcelona and Ibiza, formed by Loïc Le Joliff and Jaime Alguersuari.

Loïc has been deeply involved in the electronic music world for many years and has played a central role in the development of large-scale events and festivals. His background is rooted in event creation and long-term project building within electronic music.

Jaime, formerly a Formula 1 driver with Red Bull Racing, has built a parallel career in music under the name Squire. His transition into electronic music is shaped by a disciplined approach to production and DJing, with strong attention to structure, timing, and sound.

Together, they created Pole Position as a space to explore a musical direction centered mainly around house and melodic sounds, while remaining open and versatile across tempos and styles. Their approach is not confined to a single lane, allowing their sets and productions to adapt to different contexts and moments.

In parallel, they run Ànims, a Barcelona-based label that serves as the home for most of Pole Position’s music and a platform for both emerging and established artists. The label has released records from rising artists such as Darlow, Samer Soltan, Guychu, Auggië, Gespona, Aladag, HeandMe, and Ivan Massa, alongside releases and remixes from established names including Deep Dish, Hernan Cattaneo, Musumeci, Tim Engelhardt, Meera, Emanuel Satie, and Maga.

Pole Position’s live sets reflect this ecosystem, built around flow, progression, and a coherent musical narrative.

Eklektisch is the label run by esteemed Spanish DJ and producer, Edu Imbernon. Since 2008, the label has showcased a wide range of house and tech styles from a number of established and breakthrough artists. As well as the boss himself, the likes of Coyu, Uner, David August, Solomun, Los Suruba, Henry Saiz, Rodriguez Jr and many more have released on the imprint. Perfect electronic music for the more discerning dancefloors is the label's mission, with many of the releases being played by top spinners including Agoria, Laurent Garnier, Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo, X-Press 2 and many more besides.

Barcelona DJ/Producer Jaime Algersuari captivates audiences with his heartfelt melodies and attracts prestigious labels worldwide for his releases. 

In the last 12 months alone, he’s released on notable imprints like Mobilee, Einmusika, Get Physical, All Day I Dream… each track brimming with originality but with a sound that is quintessentially Squire. His remix of Rodriguez Jr. ‘Haussmann’ established him further as a versatile multitalented artist. He approaches music with a full heart and intent focus, whether DJ sets, or the live streams he has been delivering through lockdown (ABRACADABRA, Beatport for Beirut, Patterns On Air), while time in his studio has resulted in two new EPs in Autumn 2020 (Mobilee and Do Not Sit…) and the launch of his own label, Anims (December 2020).

DJing since aged 15 in Ibiza, competing with his friends to see whose tracks got the crowd dancing the most, the charismatic artist has jazz in his soul and rhythm in his heart. After a childhood surrounded by music, family trips to the White Isle from age 13 developed his music and his record collection.

Whilst displaying consistent style and flair in both life and music, Squire’s sound has evolved, soaking up inspiration from and acknowledging diverse traditions and genres. His music spans melodic house to deep to organic, and while delivering stunning instrumentals and catchy vocal hooks, he wins the support of tastemaker DJs from BLOND:ISH to Dixon.  

From his previous life as the youngest Formula One racer of his time, his Bridges for Music Paris to Amsterdam bike ride, or his desert track ride through the Sahara, Squire puts his all into every one of his passions. Even in this shadowy time, he shines.

Squire is one of the most interesting upcoming spanish and international talents on the scene. Born with a Jazz’s soul he has soon delivered a unique sound that merges techno and house with an incredibile variety of influences. The key of his success have been focus, respect for music tradition and an eye open to the future of electronic music. Keeping his sound into ‘Deep' atmospheres he has rapidly creates around his name interest and excitement and he’s surely one to be followed.
Despite his young age, he has already released records on emblematic labels such as Get Physical, Rebellion,My Favorite Robot Records,Tenampa,Parquet Recordings.

Keep always an eye on Squire, more is yet to come.

WALTHER began his DJ journey in the vibrant underground scene of Copenhagen, spinning at exclusive private events before transitioning into regular club nights. Since then, his sound has traveled globally, with performances in Ibiza, Spain, Tulum, Thailand, Italy, Austria, Greece, Sweden, and France.

In 2025, WALTHER holds prestigious residencies at both Blue Marlin Ibiza and Beachouse, solidifying his presence at the heart of the island’s iconic music scene.

His dynamic sets have graced legendary stages including DEFECTED at Eden, Woomoon at Cova Santa, Café Mambo Ibiza, Nomade Tulum, Café del Mar Phuket, and Momento Marbella.
WALTHER’s work has received major support from Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1, featuring his collaboration with Islandman on the track "Aku Membawa", which also received a stellar remix by Gerd Janson.
He’s been a long-standing figure in Denmark’s music scene, performing 7 consecutive years at Distortion Festival, along with appearances at the Club Awards and two unforgettable sets at the infamous Coma Club.
