Splatter is the new techno label from Austrian artists Luca Tresque and Joe Haensn who both feature on this special edition prequel release titled X-Over.

The talented Luca Tresque is from Linz, Austria and has already appeared on the likes of Florian Meindl's FLASH, Robert Hoff's trau-ma and Alex Bau's Credo, as well as being a resident at Kantine Club once and playing at the respected Werk and Grelle Forelle venues.

Fellow Austrian and Splatter co-owner Joe Hänsn also contributes to this EP and makes his debut with a driving and twisted sound that will be sure to make an impression.

Expect to hear a raw and hypnotic techno cut bursting with energy and a rolling jam with a twisted vibe...

Blank Code is a Detroit, USA techno outfit that have released music by artists like Bas Mooy, Mike Parker, Brian Sanhaji, DJ Hyperactive, Drumcell, and many more.

The newest Blank Code recruit is Decoder with his 'Distant Beings' EP, a fellow American from Dallas who has gained many devoted supporters from having releases on Jeff Mills' Axis Records, Amotik Records, TWR72's Float, Edit Select Records, Molecular Recordings, and Science Cult, amongst others.

Beginning with "Missing Sector," a dystopian and airy soundscape of captivating rattlesnake hisses and muted tones of melody and suspense amidst a stuttering kick pattern.

"Strange Interaction" follows with an abstract approach overall, but using a solid, rhythmic beat as a pulsing constant. Static crackles create mesmerising textures and light tom drums are met with wandering waves of analogue whispers and skipping hats.

"Farther" introduces deep and looping modular frequencies that dance around in a sci-fi aesthetic. This sublimely hypnotic track has an ethereal quality of patience and draws influence from dubby and atmospheric styling.

Finishing with "Elevation," it instantly has an experimental vibe that seems mysterious and menacing. Cyclical mid tones create a sonic suction before phasing pulses add even more tension to this esoteric adventure.

Dallas based producer Decoder (@iamdecoder) lands on Delsin with four versatile techno interpretations. From deep and immersive techno hypnotica to emotive electro bliss. It’s a well rounded EP with some type of elegance from a young producer who seems to have been doing this for decades. Decoder’s sound palette is warm and forceful, very direct yet still sensitive.

Decoder - Anutva (DSR-C24)

Decoder is an emergent Dallas producer whose 1st appearances arrived in 2021 with a trio of albums, including Dark Shape on Mills’ mighty Axis, followed by further full lengths & numerous EPs on respected imprints such as Holland’s Float, Detroit’s Blank Code, and untouchable techno tastemakers Delsin, plus his own Toca, co-run with NYC-based Jay York, whose similarly hyperactive productivity defines their alliance. Already known across the US thanks to Hawtin’s From Our Minds tour, his worldwide notice is sure to increase with each high-profile release. From Another Star harnesses the stargazing end of his already-alien sound sphere on Vinveli, five tracks of midtempo trips saturated in extraterrestrial atmosphere.  
Cycling bleeps in ‘Gasui’ serve to enforce stasis over motion as he elegantly assembles a dynamic orbital system, with gaseous, evaporating clouds brushed aside to reveal its insistently chugging inner works. Dense, dark, and unstable, ‘Drona’ voyages through the center of a freshly-exploded supernova nebula still expanding rapidly, with deadly detritus flashing past the viewscreens. A rippling, zapping lead carves its way through the center of ‘447’, continuously assuming unfamiliar shapes while rotating elements surrounding it create organic, evolving forms. ‘Standing’ displays the pulsating, eroded tones and sparse percussion touch that defines his style, its midrange a bath of reverb wash while subtle, changeable elements intertwine. Forward movement is almost an afterthought: this is music of drift, a broken warp drive stranded in deep space while anxiety builds throughout the crew. ‘Service’ ends on a more strident tone, an eight-minute epic whose rising momentum blasts its astronauts firmly past our solar system into unsettling isolation.
