It’s WEEK 22 of The Disco Waltons Mix Sessions – and this week we’ve only gone and landed the bezzer himself Fingerman (aka Gregg Holmes)!
Hailing from Portsmouth, via Brighton and now firmly holding court in Belfast, Gregg’s a certified disco don. He’s the daddy behind Hot Digits Music (and vinyl offshoot Wax Digits) — a label responsible for more dancefloor weapons than your local dodgy Firestick dealer. Since the early days, he’s been chopping, looping, and reworking tunes with that signature touch — and his edits have been championed by the best in the biz.
Gregg’s a hardworking, top-shelf editor, producer, label boss, radio host, and all-round top geezer. Two hours is nowhere near enough — but it’s just the right amount of time for Fingerman to take us on a proper journey. Expect chunky mid-tempo rollers, slick reworks, nu-disco stompers, and groove-heavy edits that sneak up on you — BOOM — those classic tones that give you that nostalgic tickle right up the nostrils.
