Flawless

One of my first microtonal(arabic/rabab) acoustic guitar recordings i have done back in the year 2009. The artist was looking for rabab and in the last time rabab could not be arranged in the final recording studio session. So i took an Ibanez acoustic guitar, tuned-down to 1 octave(standard E) and added few more changes in fretboard and intonation. Artist was happy. Sharing now.

Narked Records is delighted to announce the release of the hotly anticipated second single, "Illusion" from the Sridhar & Arun Shenoy project. Sridhar assumes lead and backup vocal responsibilites on this single which sees the duo moving towards an alternative sound with a retro vibe, compared to the hard rock aesthetic of the first single, "Make up Your Mind Or Leave It Behind" released in May 2014.

The artwork for the song features a quirky ambigram for the title, a typographical design that sees the song title reading the same, from an inverted viewpoint. The ambigram has been conceived by art director Roshni Mohapatra and masterfully executed by Rich Lock at Devolution Designs, UK.

The song is available for pre-order on iTunes leading up to the official release date on August 05, 2014.by Devolution Designs.

When I first heard Re, it put a huge smile on my face. I was fascinated by the delicate honesty in the recording. Sometimes one great idea can trigger many streams of thought - this was such a derivative, and I've worked to preserve the fragility of the original, while letting the electric guitar have a nice conversation with Nils's piano.
