I started rapping at the age of 7 years old. I remember watching Kool Moe Dee rapping in a Santa Claus suit in the hip hop classic "Beat Street" I was hooked!

Every since then I was determined to be a rap star! Through the years my talent and passion grew. Even though being raised in the church, at age 14 I became distracted with the desires of the world.

​

I became the prodigal son. My talent was wasted rapping for the world and contributing to worldly messages that program and pollute the impressionable minds of the listeners, especially in our culture.

 

Reaping what I ended up sowing through years of practicing lawlessness, I put the mic down and took time to deal with life's issues as God was dealing with me, and calling me home. 

​Now after rededicating my life back to God, I have since picked up the mic again now Going 4 God as my name stands for. I'm so excited to finally use the gift that God gave me to serve him!

I look forward to what God has in store for me and my music as I explore uncharted territory.

Dj M3 has staked his everlasting claim in the Bay Area music community in 1990 as a key promoter and DJ, roles for which he took on the abbreviated appellation of M3, short for “Makes Me Move”. Begun as a fluid, down-tempo approach, M3 eventually evolved his sound to the expression of Deep House , Disco and Tech House chuggers he is known for today. Manny quickly developed his own legendary party brand Green Gorilla Lounge underground, and clubs night parties along Anthony Mansfield. He started to sharing the decks with industry icons with bookings across the globe, He also started Disco Knights at Burning Man. Thus further developed Manny’s acumen for rhythm and cultural finesse, priming him for several collaborations with Phil ‘Rene’ Collis of Bachelor’s of Science and setting the stage for their alliance as the stealthy duo Sleight of Hands. Having seen releases through his own label Green Gorilla Lounge, as well as Smoke ’N’ Mirrors, Om, Sirenum, and Chillin’ Records. M3 has notably performed at the San Francisco Treasure Island Music Festival 2014, Outsidelands 2013, and Coachella 2013 as Sleight of Hands. And Coachella as Dj M3 2012

With past projects including the Tweakin’/ Black Pancake record shop and Triple Crown Nightclub under his belt, Manny has moved forward embodying his passion for music as of the founder of the record label Green Gorilla Lounge and co-owner of SF nightlife staple Monarch nightclub and Great Northern .When not in the studio, M3 can be pushing his signature sounds DJing in night clubs, bars, and undergrounds all over the city. There is no doubt M3 is thoroughly invested in his lifelong relationship with music and art and culture. Looking to the future. 2020 will see a kick of release from green gorilla lounge.
