Daniela Cast is a producer and DJ born in Puerto Madryn, Argentina in 1985. At the age of 3, she was quickly captivated by her godfather’s record collection, an early step towards her love for music and vinyl. All her life has been related to music & art, passion that began at the age of six when she immerse in a deep relationship with the piano. Daniela started playing professionally in 2010 and has releases on labels such as RUTA5, Drumma Records, Musica Lunar, What Now Becomes, Rawax (Housewax), and more. 

At the age of 15 she moved to United States where her connection to music deepened though a wide range of influences including hip-hop, trip-hop, dub, funk, post punk, darker rock and alternative metal shaped by the cultural diversity of her background.  In the year 2007 she returned to Argentina where she studied Graphic Design at the University of Champagnat where she obtained her college degree. 

In 2011, she studied at EMBA (School of Music in Buenos Aires) which further enhanced the musical background of such a talented well-rounded artist. 

Daniela ́s DJ sets are a blend of minimal, house, techno and everything in between with a deep groove, strong basslines, and a clear club orientation. Groove and more groove, define what her mixes are all about. Vinyl Dj with a forward thinking selection, Daniela deeply connects with the crowd and creates full on energy atmosphere embracing deep and funky sounds, keeping the dance floor on their toes, creating moods that transcends genres, and ensuring an unforgettable experience for all. In her own productions, she uses mainly analog machines to compose and produce her music. Daniela´s sound ranges from minimal techno to house, leaning heavy into deep grooves and dynamic percussion lines, and hip-hop inspired melodies. 

In 2013 she moved to Europe, first to Barcelona, where she held a residency at Reckon parties. Now residing in Berlin for seven years, Daniela plays regularly at the legendary Club Der Visionaere and Hoppetosse. As well as across Europe and overseas to America and Australia (in clubs such as S.A.S.H. in Syney, Breakfast Club in Melbourne and others). For over a decade, Daniela ́s consistency in playing/producing top quality music has made her a staple in the electronic scene. 

In 2019, Daniela founded Cat Hat Records, her own parties, which take place in Berlin ́s beloved Club Der Vissionaere; bringing smiles and full on vibes every summer.
