It's important to understand the breadth of what identity is trying to accomplish, which is to allow others to interact and consume services in a frictionless and secure manner. 

There are many resources available to learn about identity, including tutorials, classes, and industry websites. Machine identities, such as IoT devices, also need to be treated as identities and have the same controls and management in place. When choosing identity solutions, it's important to understand the organization's objectives, challenges, and requirements before considering specific vendors or tools.
