Gallant: Dawn of Niceness.”  Also Jenny shares memories of performing at the now-defunct Factory Theatre, Brian waxes on the majesty of the mullet, and Jacquelyn pitches a new role for shy high school theater kids.

UNTG #2--All The Way Off A Cliff

Flat Earth Theatre's A. Lehrmitt has forged the newly adapted radio play Lovecraft's Tales Outside Time & Space, presenting variations of four of Lovecraft's stories that encounter alternate dimensions full of terrors literally out of this world. From meeting extraterrestrial dimension-hoppers to losing oneself outside time and space, one can travel too far into the unknown, and the journey back may prove the ultimate, and most horrible, test.

The Whisperer in Darkness features Justin Hicks as Albert Wilmarth, Karen Sarao as Helen Akeley, Kristen Heider as the Mi-Go, James Rossi as B-67, and Liz Salazar as Noyes.

The Dreams in the Witch House features Melissa de Jesus as Clara Gilman, Kathleen C. Lewis as Fran Elwood, Marty Mason as Keziah Mason, Jake Scaltreto as Nyarlathotep, and Kristen Heider as the woman.

The Shadow out of Time features Jake Scaltreto as Nathaniel Wingate Peaslee, James Hayward as Wingate Peaslee, Kristen Heider as Dr. Rutherford, James Rossi as Dr. Marsh, and Chris Chiampa as Nug-Soth and the Australian miner.

Through the Gates of the Silver Key features Andy Hicks as Ernest B. Aspinwall, Kristen Heider as Phillipa Ward, Matthew Zahnzinger as Etienne-Laurent de Marigny, Liz Salazar as Swami Chandraputra, Chris Larson as Randolph Carter, Justin Hicks as 'Umr at-Tawil, and Marty Mason as Yog-Sothoth.

Sounds effects were designed by Kype Lampe and James Rossi, recorded and mixed by Panic Attack Studios. The performance was directed by Liz Salazar. Lovecraft's Tales Outside Time & Space was first performed live on October 15th, 2016 at Comicazi in Somerville, Massachusetts with an encore performance on October 22nd at Pandemonium Books & Games in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Well, vacation is over. We've got an office to de-prank and a bunch of voicemails to answer, but it means we're back to "Trek"! But not just ANY "Trek"! It's time for "Deep Space Nine", with a slew of new faces, a new premise, and a show where our crew's home is a space station instead of a starship! Meet Commander Sisko and his crew as what looks to be a thankless, middle-of-nowhere diplomatic posting gets a lot more complicated when a stable wormhole is discovered just nearby!
Also this week: no relation, an awful bird, and Odo's sandwich.

Episode 146: From Zero to OW!

Knowing where to put your faith when things are at a breaking point can be the difference between life and death this week on DS9. First up: in "Past Prologue" an old comrade of Kira's comes calling, but he's from a faction so violent that even the Bajoran government wants nothing to do with them. Has he really given up the life? After that, an obvious frame-up gives some discontent members of DS9 society an excuse to shake their fellow-denizens belief in Odo in "A Man Alone".
Also this week: here comes Garak, how Keiko met Miles, and don't overthink Odo.

Episode 147: Trust

The Chief plays pivotal roles to varying degrees in DS9 this week. First up: his job as head repairman also makes him patient zero for an aphasia virus in "Babel". After that, he goes full Starfleet when morality and the rules clash in "Captive Pursuit".
Also this week: Tosks, DS9 security is as silly as "Enterprise" security, and worst contact.

Episode 148: Starting With O'Brien

DS9 is feeling a lot like its predecessor this week on SSHB. First up: Q and Vash are in town, and a mysterious artifact from the Gamma Quadrant is causing trouble in "Q-Less". After that, where TNG debated personhood in "Measure of a Man", DS9 tackles where one person ends and another begins in "Dax". But it's not as good. Whoops.
Also this week: all alone, telegraphing twists, and video game adaptations.

Episode 149: TN9. Or is DNG better?

Holy Hannah we've hit one-fifty(ignoring various tens-forward and shore leave, shh) and to celebrate, "Trek" has given us...a real pair of stinkers. Damn.
First up, a Starfleet Doctor has someone's consciousness joyriding in their noggin. No, we've not re-watched "The Search For Spock", we were subjected to the utterly obvious "The Passenger". After that, two writers and plenty of research into games still couldn't deliver an episode that rises above mediocre in the infamous "Move Along Home".
Also this week: evil eyeliner, a cake and fish tangent, and record screeches.

First up: Odo's "Dad" drops by and causes his boy enough stress that the Constable starts wrecking up the joint in "The Alternate". After that The Chief and Bashir are on the run from the dumbest peace plan in history in "Armageddon Game".
Also this week: the Trek "other", abysmal hair, and our first ever endorsement!
