Even when they give him something to do, "Enterprise" wastes Mayweather. First up, it's a toothless rehash of "Fortunate Son" as Mayweather visits his family's cargo ship in "Horizon". After that: he gets to lead a rescue mission until he inevitably busts his leg in "The Breach."

"How Sharper Than a Serpent's Tooth" nor the backwards-universe shenanigans of "The Counter-Clock Incident" (in the backwards universe, is TAS good?)We've also got another top and bottom 5! Well..."top" and bottom.
Also this week: they'll give anyone an award, who was the audience, and lizard mouth.

It’s the end of the infamous first season of TNG, and it sure goes out on a poor note! First up, the B plot of “Coming of Age” comes to its buggy conclusion in “Conspiracy”. Then the Romulans are back but we’re mostly talking to some 20th century dingbats in “The Neutral Zone”!
Also this week: traumatizing children, that’s not how adrenaline works, and top/bottom lists!

It’s the new Unreliable Narrator podcast!  Jenny Gutbezahl, Brian Rust, and Jacquelyn Weatherbee from “Planet of Warrior-Bunnies” read scenes from Carl’s gritty nostalgia reboot “Goofus v. Gallant: Dawn of Niceness.”  Also Jenny shares memories of performing at the now-defunct Factory Theatre, Brian waxes on the majesty of the mullet, and Jacquelyn pitches a new role for shy high school theater kids.

Caitlin, Andy, and Steve close out their month of shows by reading from Carl’s comic tragedy of the 30th President, “Calvin.” Also, Caitlin creates science fiction’s best character mashup imaginable,  Andy implores CBS to learn from the BBC’s mistakes, Steve stands up to the elitists of television streaming, and Carl places “Star Trek: The Next Generation” season one in its proper context.

UNTG #2--All The Way Off A Cliff

Flat Earth Theatre's A. Lehrmitt has forged the newly adapted radio play Lovecraft's Tales Outside Time & Space, presenting variations of four of Lovecraft's stories that encounter alternate dimensions full of terrors literally out of this world. From meeting extraterrestrial dimension-hoppers to losing oneself outside time and space, one can travel too far into the unknown, and the journey back may prove the ultimate, and most horrible, test.

The Whisperer in Darkness features Justin Hicks as Albert Wilmarth, Karen Sarao as Helen Akeley, Kristen Heider as the Mi-Go, James Rossi as B-67, and Liz Salazar as Noyes.

The Dreams in the Witch House features Melissa de Jesus as Clara Gilman, Kathleen C. Lewis as Fran Elwood, Marty Mason as Keziah Mason, Jake Scaltreto as Nyarlathotep, and Kristen Heider as the woman.

The Shadow out of Time features Jake Scaltreto as Nathaniel Wingate Peaslee, James Hayward as Wingate Peaslee, Kristen Heider as Dr. Rutherford, James Rossi as Dr. Marsh, and Chris Chiampa as Nug-Soth and the Australian miner.

Through the Gates of the Silver Key features Andy Hicks as Ernest B. Aspinwall, Kristen Heider as Phillipa Ward, Matthew Zahnzinger as Etienne-Laurent de Marigny, Liz Salazar as Swami Chandraputra, Chris Larson as Randolph Carter, Justin Hicks as 'Umr at-Tawil, and Marty Mason as Yog-Sothoth.

Sounds effects were designed by Kype Lampe and James Rossi, recorded and mixed by Panic Attack Studios. The performance was directed by Liz Salazar. Lovecraft's Tales Outside Time & Space was first performed live on October 15th, 2016 at Comicazi in Somerville, Massachusetts with an encore performance on October 22nd at Pandemonium Books & Games in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
