Inspired by legendary artists the likes of DMX, Jadakiss, Biggie, AZ, Nas, T.I., and Kanye to name a few Queens native Charlie Mills is primed and ready to write his name into the class of greatness that the borough has been known for historically. Rapping under the stage name  Charlie Millz, he was introduced to the genre of Hip Hop by his father on a family trip to the south as a youngster. Stopping at the popular Coconuts brand store, he asked to have a copy of the classic Hard Knock Life Vol 2. With quality on repeat, Charlie began to identify with the melody, the content and of course- the lyrics.




" I remember us making rest stops, and people gravitated to the car asking who's music that was. For me it symbolized everything good about music. Hip Hop from that day forward was my first love."




Knowing that he wanted the same recognition for his prowess, Charlie began to set his sights on a career in music. More recently graduating to a point where on a personal level he considers himself a professional Charlie is on course to solidify that categorization. With his impeccable performanace for KSharkTV as well as other accolades which include blog placement Charlie is creating quite the buzz, one that you wouldn't really expect from a novice.

Currently working on his debut, Who Is Charlie Millz, Charlie plans to bring substance back to a game which has changed in recent years content wise. Recording with meaning, Charlie does not subscribe to gimmicks or commercial sounds.
