In this conversation with Dr. Promislow, we discuss his ongoing research project – current findings, how to get involved and what the team hopes to learn. The Dog Aging Project, an unprecedented and innovative research platform has grown to partner with tens of thousands of dogs and their humans across the United States to work with a team of scientists and veterinarians to understand how biology, lifestyle and environment affect health and longevity in dogs. By studying the aging process in dogs, we can discover better ways to predict, diagnose, treat, and prevent illnesses related to the aging process in both dogs and humans.

This conversation is part of our inquiry into the health benefits of human-animal relationships, which we will explore further at ‘Creature Comforts’ the 4th annual agein on June 17, 2023 in San Francisco.
