After his appearance on Frigio Allstars Vol 3, Scannoir (also half member of the amazing GOTT project) delivers his first full length EP with "Through My Silence".

Emotive and raw, the style pursued blurs the lines between synth wave, EBM and
techno. "Industrial Technology" opens with a driving and steadily increasing buildup that finds its peak with a wink in the late eighties New Beat/Techno era. Followed by "Get Ready (but sorry)" which entertains with powerful drums, thick strings and rumbling chords while samples and distant lyrics recite the coming of change. The breadth of Scannoir’s style is truly remarkable, with this amazing 5 track EP being emblematic of his range. The flip takes a different direction, the lovelorn lament of “Through My Silence” melts sweetened synth lines with cold pain-streaked words before blooming into a brooding burner. A shaky alliance between samples and vocals runs through the rhythmic assault and violent undertones of “Why Old News.” The closure comes with the marching melancholy of “Alles Wird Gut”, a dark and moody end to this debut EP.

Novo Line – aka Berlin's algorave maestro Nat Fowler – delivers a noisy, ultramarine voyage into the depths of his archaic hardware. Clawing at the periphery between leftfield electronics and avant-garde pop, Zeit is an entirely new sonic universe, eerily familiar yet utterly uncharted. A visionary synthesist, Fowler is renowned for his productions that make use of mainly '80s equipment including vintage digital synths, discarded MIDI Hi-Tech, tape delay and even an ancient Atari ST computer. But, despite the aged technology, the result is far from nostalgic.

'Ain't That a Mess' slams in with Monica Kremidi's crooning à la Little Annie Anxiety with reeving car engines and guitar-rock static fed through a pan effect. Multilayered melodies soar on 'Stein', the pounding drums matched by gliding strings, crafting that holy grail of cavernous, booming textures and uplifting euphoria that mark out the most transcendent of rave tracks. The deceptively gentle opening bars of 'Morning Star' are interrupted by a viscously squelching bassline, Cass McCombs' vocals dancing deliciously with the raw beat.

Rejecting contemporary tech-fetishism, Novo Line has a near-supernatural ability to exorcise novel sequences, weaving together a record that speaks to the ghost in the machine.

J. Mono twists our sense of time again, coming up with the third installment of his ‘Redate’ series: an elegant selection of uncut tracks, roaming in the fields of electro, acid, IDM and EBM. Redate III in its digital format presents tracks that were written and recorded between 2014 and 2015. As the cassette version, it includes not only Redate III (as side A), but a collection of J. Mono’s various other tracks created between 2017 and 2021, that appeared beforehand on various compilation albums (as side B). In other words, with this fresh new tape you’re all set with 8 years of J. Mono experience.

Redate III has a collection of 12 tracks that were all born in the mid 2010s. They are quick and ambitious tracks with usually a fast pace, ready to action and not afraid of melodic or rhythmic complexities. These raw edits usually tell us a discourse of a few key musical elements, constantly intertwined with each other: winding basslines and beats, wandering pads and leads. Never longer than 3 or 4 minutes, they focus on precise and rapid variations of sonic ideas that are full of heart, akin to compositions we know as bagatelles, sonatinas or études from previous centuries.

The twelve tracks are spot on understandings of what intuitive, energetic yet sensitive electronics can mean in the 21st century. Sweet melodies, acidic vibes and dreamy echoes dominate the record while dirty, muddy and distorted sound waves are also eager to take over the course.

Redate III offers a range of impressions and moods, where each track captures one very specific emotional moment. Melancholic and passionate tunes, frantic rhythms and delicate harmonies at work: electrified gnossiennes, beat-driven gymnopédies in 40 minutes.

A1 opens up with ‘Noi Non Ci Saremo’ a bruise of nostalgic, new-romantic and dreamy 80s vibes from Diana Berti - @violet-poison, followed up by Black Dot’s ‘Recurrent Disorder’ with occult spoken-word intonation of @yasssa reminding of John Balance, over acid bassline, electro beat and syncopated noises by @allegedwitches. ‘Unknown Faces’ close up the A side - an EBM track with a killer raw beat and distorted bass ready for sweaty dancefloors from the label heads duo @bianconegativo. 
Flip side is unwrapped by one of the synth pioneer and UK based artist @timothy-j-fairplay with ‘Love Boat For Four’ that drags you straight into a sci-fi movie fiction with the 8 bit electronic synths. B2 is Highest Bidder from Harlem Electronics, a seductive minimal rhythm with a dark undertone. The journey ends with ‘Svart Magi’ an hardware industrial jam by the Swedish producer @celldod.

Disciple of the god Apollo, Terpsichore was the Muse of the dance, and it was known to be the most enigmatic of the nine Greek muses.

She was the mother of the sirens, and she would lure sailors to shipwreck on their island with their music and hypnotic, beautiful singing.

Terpsichore has been invoked as a metaphor for rhythm and ordered movement in the universe.

The planets orbit the sun and the sun, with other stars, orbits the center of the Milky Way galaxy. The planets go through the Milankovitch cycles in which their orbits around the sun adjust in very regular, periodic, or rhythmic, ways.

Terpsichore’s influence goes beyond just the humane, as It can also be seen in the observable universe.

She is now the Muse not just of human dance but also the cosmic dance in which the whole universe participates.
