We are very pleased to present the new incarnation of Javier Vairo and Ivan Leivas of the Argentine duo SHPSHFT: CAMBIAFORMA, a new spawn in which they reveal a facet more inclined toward raw and visceral EBM, introducing vocals performed by Ivan.
The project is completed with a live format, bringing this new sonic identity to the stage. Today they release their first EP, “Una luz inaccesible”, in which they propose an acidic reading of different aspects of these dystopian times, delivering a soundtrack that strongly resonates with the oppressive climate prevailing in Latin America. This debut release includes three original tracks and remixes by Corppo, Anti Yo, and Black.n

From the Guts of Essaira claims space in body and time. It follows the path announced with the single 'Dramla / Xirxe', expanding its tensions and guiding them towards a more layered, conscious expressive form. It is an album to be listened to without respite, allowing the sonic material to dilate.
The tracks move across a punkstrial terrain rich in synths held in constant tension; sharp guitars and industrial rhythms alternate drive with suspension. The vocals, multiple and layered, do not seek centrality but co‑presence: they enter, disappear, pursue one another, dig deep and steer the listening through zones of friction and release.
The album is released during a period of widespread instability and reflects that mood. The ten pieces construct a compact journey, with darkness and urgency alternating with more rarefied, introspective moments. Nothing is accidental: every segment is functional, every tension is permitted to resonate until the end. From the Guts of Essaira is a physical, visceral record; it works by accumulation and subtraction, strengthened by the fracture between control and abandonment. It breathes, listens, spreads.

“Adiós Mundo Cruel continuously experiments with rhythm, noise, and texture through a rotating array of hardware electronics. His practice moves fluidly between his project Les Temps Barbres, which explores longer-form and free-form ambient work, and more aggressive, industrial-influenced tracks released under Adiós Mundo Cruel. 

Transistor Drip was recorded in 2022, toward the end of a period of hardware reconfiguration that had supported numerous live performances. The track is meditative yet forceful, driven by a pounding pulse and rhythmic flutters that resist settling neatly onto the grid.”

In a most original impetus this album traverses forty years of Italian new wave and singer-songwriter tradition. As in the desert where Infesta’s urge is to walk, we are ambushed by the most intense thermal and sonic difference.
It is from here that this important journey we mustn’t miss begins. It leads us eight thousand meters deep in the blue abyss. Not quite enough to come out the other side and, as a kite, bestow all the heights that I will reach. These depths are nevertheless necessary to adjust our eyes to the darkness that lives within us, as a machine to burst our hearts to which we can’t and won't be accomplices.
Machine against machine. The increasing pressure of the lashes of an incessant current, at times sweet and at times sour, on which all the courage is sung and yet is everywhere dispersed like thoughts on water and melodies to be lost at sea. Darkness persists: you said the world can be lived where all was taken. And it’s a crazy and estranging babbling that, stripped by a current, answers: never never never never, in no direction.
My companions, come back, the breaking point has been found, we sing together. Leaf after leaf the time has come: it is possible to destroy the Machine in a mad blinding light.

INGERABLE, que significa “ingestionable” en francés, fue el adjetivo con el que una discográfica calificó a Cathy Claret cuando les mostró la canción inspirada en una poesía caló que hoy forma parte del último lanzamiento de Alhaja Records, “Por el Chiben”. La pieza nació en 1987, cuando la artista vivía en Can Tunis (Barcelona), inspirada en una poesía que escuchó al tío Bastián. Años después, al grabar su primer álbum, incluyó esta composición, pero la artista fue censurada por no encajar en los moldes comerciales. Ahora, Alhaja Records la recupera en un disco con dos versiones: una flamenca, con la guitarra de Emilio Caracafé, y otra electrónica, producida por Wará, que estrenamos hoy en Sonidos Subterráneos. Esta versión propone un universo hipnótico, donde la voz de Cathy flota entre capas de sintetizadores que amplifican la emoción y la libertad de la canción, mostrando cómo una misma historia puede ser ancestral y moderna al mismo tiempo.

Daniel Jahn’s sonic wanderings unfold in zones where texture, echo and memory lose their edges. Through his recording project Schatterau, he sketches slow-moving soundscapes woven from looping fragments, spectral harmonies and distant voices.

A resident at NTS Radio and TNP, and working in A&R for Hamburg’s Bureau B, he draws from an ever-expanding archive of obscured recordings. His sets move slowly between stillness and dislocation, bathing the space in nocturnal melancholia, mist-veiled reveries and subtle tension.
