The Brvtalist is proud to present a new mix from Oliver. The London-based DJ and producer's sound lies sound lies at the intersection between Post-Punk, EBM, Darkwave, Industrial and Rave. Cutting his teeth at London's warehouses and clubs, he is also emerging as a great producer, with his debut EP, ‘Knuckle Love’, released in late 2020 on St. Petersburg’s, Mosaique Records. Armed with remixes from Colombia’s Filmmaker and newly formed LANDER (one half of Years of Denial + Claus Fuss), the EP personifies the alternative space Gibson operates in.

Coming up he's also got a release on Oraculo and today we are thrilled to host this killer set which perfectly puts his sound in focus.

One of the fresh flowers blooming in the fields of electronic music these days, HKKPTR hails from Leipzig, one of the epicenters of modern club culture in East Germany.  He stands in line with a new generation of DJs and producers, serving their audiences Techno in its rawest, most unrelenting form. With his musical roots in Black Metal and Hardcore he found early access to electronic music through Gabber and Schranz. Ever since, he's been continuously surprising audiences with his predilection for darker and more energetic sides of electronic club music while refusing to be put into any categories.

Grebenstein and Seefried – radical autodidact and trained musicians – have been working together for 6 years between longer periods of rest, intensive musical output emerged in short and concentrated sessions. A stripped back way of working, with only one drum machine, one synthesizer, and one voice, is reflected in the minimalistic and uncompromising songs they produce. Those who get drawn into the songs of the duo will find themselves simultaneously shocked into overdrive and lulled into a temporary peace – always guided by Seefried’s warm and deep voice.

At the end of 2019, in the year of the label’s 25th anniversary, they will be back on Regis’ Downwards Records with their new release “Raging Tender“.
