Composer and sound artist Ishai Adar unveils the original score for HBO's Our Boys, now available digitally for the first time.

The 2019 series dramatizes the harrowing events surrounding the 2014 abduction and murder of Palestinian teenager Mohammed Abu Khdeir in Jerusalem, offering an unflinching exploration of state power, communal trauma, and fractured identities.

Adar's score avoids conventional narrative cues, instead constructing a sonic architecture of electroacoustic dissonance and textural abstraction. The compositions conjure an imagined ensemble—acoustic instruments processed and mutated into something part-organic, part-synthetic, edged with overtones of drone and analog decay.

The resulting sound captures a persistent sense of unease and interior tension, echoing the bleak interrogation rooms and shadowed urban landscapes that define the series.

Recognized for his distinctive contributions to screen music across fiction and documentary, Adar's past scores include Beaufort (2007), Shirkers (2018), and Sympathy for the Devil (2023). Alongside his work for film and television, he creates electronic music rooted in a retro-futuristic aesthetic, drawing on the textures of vintage electro and Italo-inflected minimalism.

Our Boys is both a soundtrack and a standalone piece—immersive, unresolved, and emotionally charged. A release for listeners drawn to the intersections of experimental sound design, audiovisual composition, and music that resists easy resolution.

After a collaboration with fellow Naarm based producer, Desinformant, as well as a remix, Feed The Void is extremely excited to welcome Hedchef to the label for a full length release. ‘Non-Stop Visions Of God’ merges together sub heavy genres with mind bending samples and a whole lot of tension. Tales of squid, rattlesnakes and ayahuasca paint the psychedelic landscape of the trip. This one’s hard hitting and full of impeccable sound design and bold structures that move away from dance music’s traditional linear format.

Remixes come from UK Bass producer K-65, who’s crafted a high energy version of ‘Pepper’s Ghost’, as well as FTV label head Birds, with a dark and twisted take on ‘Diamondback Rattlesnake’ (featuring her signature live vocals) and New York based producer Doctor Jeep with a peak time percussive rework of ‘Earl Grey Ayahuasca.’

Swedish duo Harlem Electronics is responsible for the meaty opening track Versausage, where minimal wave meets industrial funk. Fear side is rounded by American Kri family member Ole Mic Odd, returning with his signature haunting electro gloom.

Hope side doesn't necessarily offer hope but sure does help with escapism. Slovenian partner in crime 198319831983 gives an apt comment while twisting electro and EBM on Trustno1. Gladstone Deluxe is one of the most exciting musicians in the US right now. They make futuristic, deep, percussive yet smooth techno, deep house and electro. They also play timbales in NYC queer and trans salsa band Las Mariquitas, and are a frequent collaborator with fellow East Coast sonic trailblazers Kiernan Laveaux, Johnny Zoloft, and Mira Mira. They have released on Black Techno Matters, Data Disk, Misc, Innocent Music, How Things Are Made, and now Fixed Rhythms is excited to add to the Gladstone lore with their new offering, “No Haterade EP”.

A1 “Cleanse” is zippy tech-y house…think groovy, up-beat, sexy, like something you’d hear in a Titonton Duvante set. A2 is a remix, “Teakup - Where’s My Snare (Gladstone Deluxe Remix)”. Új Bála returns to Dalmata Daniel with DDE10, his third release on the label and his first since 2019. In the meantime, he has appeared on compilations and performed frequently at the label’s events before relocating to Brussels, where he has been based for several years. This new EP bridges the past and present of his sound: half of the tracks were written in Budapest in 2018, the other half in Brussels in 2024.

The four pieces form a skewed narrative of fractured club music, from the bubbling, spooky, melodic fragments of Kalt Kult, through the bizarre, schizophrenic interlude of Episode, to the sharp, minimalist leftfield techno of Chaton Rouge, and closing with the broken structures of Titok, which resonate most closely with his latest style.

As with every entry in the DDE series, this 10th episode comes in a highly limited edition 8" lathe-cut (25 copies only) with risograph-printed artwork designed by Daniel Jani (Studio Jetski) and printed by BPZines.

Fetter’s Body of Noise erupts at the threshold between ravey hypnosis and avant-pop experiment, slithering through the hinterlands of unconscious desire. Nine shape-shifting tracks conjure haunted landscapes where beauty refuses clarity and dancefloor logic warps underfoot. Vocals swoon, drift, and demand—stacking into fragments that multiply and weave through saturated pulses and shimmering, snarling synths.

Opening track "Like a Rose" traces a dreamer’s transition into the unstable physics of a perplexing but familiar dream world, where they gradually become lucid. “Beast” follows up humming with shadowed urgency, threading a path through self-sabotage and metamorphosis. “Spathiphyllums” drifts a while in a lush lostness, aching for something new before fracturing into wild, cathartic collapse. Side B’s “Do I Exist? (D.I.E)” and “The Longing” spiral into existential wonder, searching for a human origin story—both personal and collective—against a backdrop of uncertainty, while “Headache” thrusts forward as an absurd and insistent manifesto to stay the course and harness one’s own power within the madness.

Body of Noise is crafted not only for sweating bodies in motion, but for distorting time and opening psychic portals, where surrender becomes strategy and uncertainty transforms into ecstatic navigation. Rooted in all-hardware improvised production and shaped by Fetter’s years of boundary-blurring visual and performance art, their debut LP feels alive and in flux. Reminiscent of a spectral pop chorus trapped in a loop of broken machinery, or a lost broadcast from a dancefloor in a parallel realm, Body of Noise is a journey into chaos, transformation, and a bold refusal to be contained.

The Mire Chronicles," the latest album by Spammerheads, was born from the difficult experience of the floods that hit Valencia on October 29, 2024. During this time, the duo lost part of their studio and actively participated in the cleanup efforts in their city.

This was an experience filled with a mix of emotions—shock, helplessness, fury, resistance, solidarity, and resilience, among others—that shaped what may be their best work to date. Written as a chronicle, the album explores the personal and collective states of people affected by tragedies or catastrophes. The A-side opens with “Calls from Salem”, a dystopian slow burner that sets the tone with broken-beat percussion and dissonant synth stabs. “Steel Chair” surges forward with unrelenting force, propelled by serrated arpeggios and a barrage of fragmented vocals that rise and fall within the space, crafted for peak-time eruption.

Flipping to the B-side, “Paid Dividends” reaches full intensity, layering hammering kicks and percussion, while the low end rumbles with tectonic weight, amplifying the energy to fever pitch. Closing the record on a more contemplative note, “We Are The Universe” slows the pace, easing the tension and drifting into deeper territory. Echoing chords drift into space, layered with fragile percussive details and low, throbbing pulses. It’s a meditation on collapse and renewal, offering a moment of breath after the storm.

Extending beyond the physical record, this release comes with three extra digital exclusives. "Moonlighting" is another dancefloor stomper, capturing the tension and guiding dancers into a space where time dissolves, while in "Keygen Music", the rhythm remains grounded, but it is softened by melodic fragments that swirl in and out like fleeting memories. The release closes with "The 286 Theory" as a fierce statement: a four-to-the-floor cut, with layers of percussion that drive the groove forward, bringing the record full circle.

For Marcela Dias Sindaco’s third release on the Oklahoma City label Fixed Rhythms, she delivers a full-length 2xLP of her characteristically magical electro. These songs were recorded in various studios across Brazil, capturing the intangibles of Brazilian city life. You can hear her influences (Detroit techno, kosmische synth travel, electro, etc.), but she distills it all yet again into something completely her own. Whenever you listen to her music, you know it’s her. Hypnotizing electro made on warm machines with her sung/spoken Portuguese woven enchantedly throughout…truly sublime listening. Hailing from Raw Culture, Anna Funk Damage returns with his third release on the Roman label, delivering a record as fierce as it is intimate. Tarantola was born out of a winter suspended between contrasting emotions – melancholy, anger, love, confusion – distilled into a sound that transforms personal fragility into collective energy. There’s no pursuit of perfection here, but rather an urgency running through the veins, taking shape across supersonic punk, wave, ambient and industrial.
Each track is an emotional fragment, a bite that leaves its mark: from the electric tension of Vivere Distaccati to the feverish rush of Trasmissione, from the rawness of Decadente to the hypnotic title track Tarantola, which embodies the beating heart of the album. Machine Cult — the Amsterdam-based electronic platform run by Déandrah and Garçon Taupe — returns with the Edition Four release party at OT301 on 7 November.
The new V.A. compilation features tracks from Garçon Taupe, Bertram, 2:29, Beau Wanzer, Déandrah, and Masha Wordpress. At the launch, all contributing artists will play DJ sets, with Déandrah providing live visuals throughout the night.

Expect an evening of potent electronics and immersive visuals, celebrating the forefront of the underground.

Comb Filters in Relation to the Human Condition by Déandrah.
Every motion leaves an echo.
