almost all new and unreleased tracks.

it still has a few rough edges in it, so we almost didn't release it.
but we also didn't want to record it again or fix it. it is what it is and will be different every time.
but it had so much energy, it fit perfectly that evening!
we had so much fun dancing with you.

🎵 Pulli & Chomba [at] Beate Uwe - Mystic Creatures NYE [Live - Special]  🎵

https://soundcloud.com/pullichomba are since a while one of the hottest down- and midtempo acts in Germany. A good portion of bounce meets melody and organic elements. A mixture that simply fits. That's why we're so happy that the two of them joining our Live-Special series with an outstanding recording from the Beate Uwe. Look forward to almost 2 hours of danceable music. It's worth it.

✔️ What are your musical influences? What are your musical backgrounds? 

Our musical influences come definitely from the dancefloor. Feeling the music and connecting with the story of the DJ is something that both of us really enjoy as dancers. And that is something that we try to bring to our Sets as well... Telling our story, connecting hearts and grooving all together in one rhythm is something that we enjoy most about being DJs. Before we met each other, we both liked folk music very much, still do ;). Since Chomba moved from Chile to Australia he got into the electronic music scene and started to enroll in ableton production classes. When Pulli moved to Berlin she went from D'n'B to Balkan Beats partys until she found her love for electronic music.

Since we met and decided to make music together our style is constantly shaping. First, we lived some years in Chile and played some afro house (our first release was actually an afro house track). We love to combine melodies and vocals with rhythmical elements. Back then we were more influenced by South American rhythms, sounds and elements. Since we moved to Berlin in 2022 we have been more and more influenced by the Berlin music scene, which has way darker and bassier sounds on the plate for us.

✔️ Thoughts about the Set:
It's interesting now to think about our musical backgrounds and analyze the Set we played for the New Year's Party at Beate Uwe. It was 6 am and the dancefloor was still super crowded. We went from some melodic tunes to indie dance and it even got a little discoish at the end. It was a really interesting and funny journey trying to catch the vibe of the crowd. It's also a journey into our past - connecting the melodic, rhythmical elements with some darker tunes. It was a lot of fun.

✔️ What is a good afterhour for you?
What we like about afterhours, is that there is always this unique vibe that was created by everybody together during the night... The afterhours we played were all pretty different, some were faster and darker and others were softer and more melodic.
We love both types but our hearts definitely go more with the softer ones. Creating that special vibe, where everybody is just enjoying, eyes closed, forgetting about everything that happens around us, just being in that moment together- is such a privilege. And it doesn't matter if there is a full dancefloor or just a few people left - it's about the connection and love that everybody feels in that moment.

How crazy was that?! A huge storm raised suddenly on sunday afternoon. Dust everywhere and pouring rain. The ropes of the little hippie boat broke and the wind started pushing it straight into the middle of the lake. It was just a moment; than sun came out & a double rainbow appears above the boat far on the horizon. Luckily no one get hurt and the boat was carried back into in shallow waters by evening.. before a huge moon rised and the afterhour startet. 

Thanks to the Bucht der Träumer-Crew for all the magic, again & again! ❤️ thanks to Mira for Sharing the decks again- it was a pleasure to take over that night

Unsere geliebten Freigeister vom 'Jonny Knüppel' Kollektiv luden jüngst in ihr Erdreich zum wohl leider letzten Knüppel-Rave in Berlin's schönster Bucht, wo wir die Ehre hatten den legendären Salon zu bespielen. Dieser traumhaft schöne Samstagmorgen im Oktober wird uns noch sehr lange in Erinnerung bleiben! Vielen lieben Dank an unsere guten Freunde von @knueppelmusik für die neuerliche Einladung. UiUiUi seit Jahren mal wieder richtig Schnee … heute schon dreimal Schneeschippen gewesen. So aber nun schön Teechen angesetzt und dann erst mal feeettttteeen Bass. 

Ganz spontan ist da ein Mega-Set von meinen lieben Freunden von Dramasquad reingeflattert … Slowtec von allerFEINSTEN. Hinter dramasquad steht der großartig Producer Joseph Disco und seine gute Freundin Nickie. Bin ja ein großer Fan von diesem überbasslastigen Slowzeugs … ordentlich Ballern aber immer schön langsam. Das Set ist auch mit zahlreichen Eigenproduktionen und Edits garniert … lasst euch überraschen.

Und wenn ich an Schnee und Kälte denke … solltet ihr ein paar Euro über haben … spendet doch bitte an BLINDSPOTS … gegen die Kälte der Flüchtlinge in Bosnien … ihr seit Schätze. Weil wir habens hier warm.
