At the end of another academic year, we thank God for all that he has done and will continue to do in the lives of our graduates. Fall in love with Jesus, and it will change everything.

6th Sunday Of Easter -Graduation Mass

With the solemnity of the ascension, the Church rejoices in the gift of having our nature united to the life of Heaven. Jesus sits in glory at the right hand of the Father and we are empowered to live a life of Heaven even in the here and now.

St. Paul offers a striking word that all of us will stand before the judgment seat of Christ at the end of our lives. But you and I are given the grace to know and love Christ to the point that His judgment isn’t something to fear.  We are ceed to live a life in which the Father can see Christ radiating within us. So let us desire to approach with confidence a life of unity with God. “

11th Sunday in Ordinary Time - Approaching with Confidence

For the next several weeks , the Church will reflect on the Bread of Life discourse. Jesus reveals that His mission is to give His life for the redemption of the world and that His life is true food. May the Eucharist be the gift that allows us to live a life of self gift just as Jesus taught us.

17th Sunday of Ordinary Time - To love as He loves

As we begin a new academic year we are encouraged by the Truth that Jesus is our daily bread that nourishes us and sustains us. In His Body and Blood, Jesus draws us into His own life. May we always turn to Him to learn and grow this semester.

20th Sunday in Ordinary Time - “Christ the Living Bread”

We hear in the Gospel this week how many of Jesus’ disciples left Him and no longer followed Him. Our faith in the Lord is often tested, but in His mercy, Jesus continues to call us into friendship with Him. In our pray life and life of charity, may we come to be convinced, like St. Peter was, that Jesus is the Holy One of God.

21st Sunday in Ordinary Time - “The Testing Ground of Faith”

This week we are reminded of the beauty and power of redemptive suffering. By the Lord’s own death on the cross we are invited to be united to Him in all things, including our suffering. We ask the Lord for the grace to name our crosses in life and to carry them in great faith and hope so as to experience new life through them.

24th Sunday in Ordinary Time - “Take Up Your Cross”

This week we are encouraged by the presence of the Holy Spirit’s gift of Wisdom in our lives. The readings for Mass remind us of God’s desire to be able to see and think like He does. Wisdom allows us to ask Jesus the tough question regarding our purpose and vocation in life. It also allows us to seek humility and radical trust like a little child. May we ever be aware of the prompting of the Spirit’s gift of Wisdom in our lives.

25th Sunday in Ordinary Time - “The Gift of Divine Wisdom”

Within Christianity the word “salvation” is used in a multitude of ways. How does one gain eternal life? Works? Faith? Within the Gospel for this weekend, it seems Jesus is inviting us to see salvation in its truest form; that of a healing! The man that approaches Jesus is invited to be healed of his attachments and so to enter into salvation. May we pray for the grace to allow Jesus to save us and so daily invite Him to change us everyday to become more like Him.

28th Sunday in Ordinary Time - “What must I do to gain eternal life?”

When Jesus restores the sight of Bartimaus in the Gospel, He does so much more than resolve a physical impediment. The blind man calls Jesus the Son of David, which was a title for the Messiah who would not only save the world from sin, but also establish the Kingdom of God. We seek to be members of that Kingdom and so allow Jesus to heal and transform all aspects of our lives. Thy Kingdom come, oh Lord. Thy Will be done!
