Alessandro Scupola, in arte Alex De Rio, talentuoso dj salentino, classe 1980, inizia la sua carriera nel 1994, mosso dalla passione per la musica dance. Nel 1997 le prime esperienze in consolle nei più noti club salentini dell’epoca: Opera, Ego e Oxo. 

Nel 2007 inizia la sua collaborazione con il Kaibo, noto club protagonista delle estati salentine, di cui diviene resident e autore del party più longevo: lo storico mercoledì “Etoile Noire”. Durante il sodalizio con il Kaibo ha l’occasione di affiancare artisti del calibro di: Mr. V, Kerri Chandler, Tony Humphries, India, Barbara Tucker, Duce Martinez, Riva Starr.

Nel corso della sua carriera ha calcato le consolle dei più prestigiosi club e discoteche del Salento e non solo, fra cui Gibò, Quartiere Latino, Living, Ciak, Old Fashion e Cost a Milano, Tenax a Firenze.

La sua musica è caratterizzata dalle forti influenze House, Deep, con sfumature Funky e Latin, Indie Nu Disco.


St.Ego grew up in St. Petersburg, he has always been attracted by electronic music and its ability to create a unique atmosphere. After experimenting with different genres, he found his niche in the Organic House scene, but also continues to compose Chill out and Ambient music. Thanks to his passion for music and production talent, he quickly gained recognition and earned the respect of his industry peers.

St.Ego's tracks are known for their complex melodies, deep pulsating basslines and organic sounds that transport the listener into a new world.

Talking about his music, St.Ego said: "I believe that music should evoke emotions and create a connection with the listener. With my tracks, I strive to create a unique experience and take the listener on a journey through sound."
