Mons La Hire is the consists of Daniel (guitar, vocals) and Suzanne Watkins (bass, vocals). Mons La Hire is a collaborative project and the band has taken multiple forms over the years, from power trio (Retire the Modern Self) to 5-member multi-vocalist collective (Kind of Neutral, Kind of Blue). The duo is currently based in Providence, RI.

Perhaps the mystique is a facade, if I share my art, will my soul be stolen? Forget my craft, its my heart I want to protected from the darkness. I'm as clueless as any artist. I'm just living breathing death-fearing human looking for something all consuming. I'm stupid, I'm reckless, I'm scared shitless.
