Original Past Life is a three piece atmospheric noise band from Perth, Western Australia, featuring Michael Caratti on percussion/digital electronics, Warwick Hall on guitar/circuits and Adam Trainer on bass/analogue electronics.

HSR031: ‘Managing’ is the latest well-formed excretion from an ever-obtuse Australian trio. Despite being spread out between states, Red Red Krovvy speak their own idiot language with absolute fluency. ‘Managing’ manages to destroy every specious straight world “success” indicator (Company Job, Real Estate) replacing them with perfectly fucked haikus about simpler realities: dogs shitting in the wrong places, backyard bird burials, vengeance. Sonically their lineage within all the most acerbic Aussie murder punk is summed up with the line “Poetry’s indulgent shit / superior complex wit,” but this is anything but retro. RRK transcend niceties like bass guitar but their sound is buzzy and bombastic, stomping but not theatrical, a perfect vehicle for singer Ash’s haranguing of bastards in power with her devastating simplicity. This is Mean Music for a Mean World, ten perfectly nasty little songs for when you’ve ground your teeth down til there’s only one pure conviction left: The Rich Must Pay. (Bryony Beynon)

" Killer bouncy punk rock ripper hear from this great band outta Italy. Bravata continues to bring the hits on their second single “Lead The Sin”. The title track kicks off with a tune that recalls fellow Italian Punk Rockers Taxi with big driving guitar hooks and an echoed reverberating chorus that just draws you in. On the flip is a really catchy mellower tune called ‘Rude’ that really surprised me. It sounds like Joey Ramone collaborating with Johnny Thunders writing a mellower downer tune for Thunders first solo record. The song is very well written, inspired and played with a genuine sense of passion that you don’t see in to many punk bands these days. Generally with two songers, if theirs a mellower tune, it usually doesn’t have as much of an impact as the faster tune. But on this single it does and I keep coming back to it more than the A-side. If you have’t heard Bravata, this is a good place to start. Recommended. "
