RUTA unveils its second Various Artists compilation, Erre, a release rooted in club music experimentation and aligned with the label’s commitment to a transnational creative ethos. With contributors hailing from Colombia, Mexico, Ecuador, Germany, the U.S., China, U.K., and France, the compilation reads as a dispatch from a network of producers who share an intuitive understanding of rhythm-forward, bass-weighted dance music, no matter where they call home.

The tracklist offers a dynamic, shapeshifting palette: vocal-driven club tracks collide with broken rhythms, angular leftfield techno mutations, dembow-oriented tools, and even UK garage hybrids. No single genre binds it all together, only a sonic attitude marked by intensity, boldness, and a diasporic rhythmic fluency.

Erre is more than a showcase of tracks, it signals a maturation moment for RUTA, a label of Colombian origin operating from Germany, as it shapes its position within a more global, post-local club continuum. By drawing together both long-time collaborators and newer voices connected by a shared musical language, Erre builds not just a compilation, but an evolving platform for shared expression.

WAVEFORMS : a series of collaborative transmissions where producers trade sounds, ideas, and instincts, reshaping them into new forms of club energy.

For this fourth edition, Cardozo invites Flower B, a rising artist from Lyon, for a dialogue rooted in bass textures. Using granular synthesis as a common tool, they exchanged and re-sculpted the same low-end material, sending it back and forth until it bloomed into two distinct cuts.

Flower B delivers a high-velocity piece, weaving speed dembow with sharp, bass-heavy detailing.
Cardozo responds with Photosynthesis, a track that drifts from half-time dancehall into fluid, understated drum & bass, designed with a subtle rhythmic flow.

Two tracks, one shared language of sound design, transformed through exchange.

Obeka’s 'A World No More' - to be released on leading bass label YUKU - channels the weight of soundsystem culture and diasporic memory into an important sonic statement by blending distorted bass, fractured dub and industrial frameworks with Yoruba spiritual references to confront colonial legacies. And while the intricate drums and Caribbean rhythms are something that this Bermuda-born producer has been already well known for, the upcoming record expands on the usage of his powerfully deep voice that will be heard in the tracks like 'Drillaman', 'Pon Ya Head' and a pounding song 'Pressure' that is a collab with none other than Entrañas.
