Here is the first remix pack from Christian Smith's album 'Stranger Than Paradise'. We were lucky to enlist some of our favourite new and established producers. This pack includes three remixes from NYC house legend Harry Romero ironically delivering a storming techno remix; Dutch techno legend Steve Rachmad giving us a classy, dubby and filtered mix, and upcoming Italian artist Paride Saraceni beefing up the original "Transition" track. French composer Worakls finds his way back to the Hungry Music imprint, after recently releasing the “Adagio For Square” smash hit on Pete Tong’s FFRR Records. Worakls is currently breaking new ground with his trademark sound - fusing live musical elements with cutting edge electronic music production skills. His latest adventure is named “Question Réponse”, a dramatic piece of modern dance music, featuring blaring horns, an incredible romantic string section as well as arpeggiated synth layers to provide enormous drive. The thick rolling bassline and thumping groove glue together this masterpiece in perfect style. 

On the flip side resides the equally breathtaking “From Now On” piece. Worakls focuses on a marching & moody feel, before breaking the track down, to only feature the gorgeously crafted strings and horns. He once again brings together the classical and dance worlds in an inimitable way, so they can flourish on dancefloors worldwide as well as everywhere else!

The Hungry gang took on each others work and also invited luminaries and friends of the label such as Oliver Koletzki, Einmusik and Boris Brejcha to provide a mix for the first in a series of upcoming remix EPs.

The classically trained musician Worakls surprises with yet another high-quality two tracker for Hungry Music. He dedicates the release and track one to the electro-mechanical, polyphonic tape replay keyboard named Mellotron. The Mellotron was often used by the Beatles, Genesis and King Crimson. It became a notable instrument in progressive rock during the 1960s until the 1980s. Worakls crafts a well balanced musical piece featuring the trademark Mellotron sound, combined with a cutting-edge and warm dance groove. The orchestral atmospheric elements give ‘Mellotron’ that indescribable timeless touch that Worakls delivers so well.

Next up is the dramatic & energy filled ‘Pandemonium” composition. Worakls once again skillfully combines not only two but three musical genres and molds them into an epic dance track. The string section and diabolical brass instruments set the dramaturgical vibe, while the various layers of guitars rock their way into mayhem. The strong 4/4 beat carries the musical elements gracefully and provides full dancefloor compatibility.
