For Stamina Records Sixty Five we're serving up a break from the norm as we drop a huge package of remixes from up n' coming and established freeformers alike. Leading the charge, the boss A.B steps up with Hedonistik Ritual to rework an iconic track on exclusive license from our friends at Nu Energy - Impact's 2004 Relentless Vinyl anthem 'Phat As F*ck'. Swapping big kicks for the full flavour of freeform, the boys' reimagined modern take on this is guaranteed to blow any set to pieces. Next in line, Tamerax adds more rave flavours to the pot as he updates his own big drum anthem 'Roomshaker', dropping in even more dancefloor energy for another monster update. Completing the Yin trio we welcome Liberty to the label - a DJ and producer hailing from Moscow - who has been honing her freeform production skills and at last unleashes her take on one of Stamina's most iconic tracks, Artificial by Transcend, with devastating results. For the Yang package it's one of Spain's finest exports - jD-KiD - who brings his unmistakable trance-flavoured freeform sound to a past UK 'core anthem. Kindly on exclusive license to us, Fracus & Oli G's massive 'Feel The Light' feat. Donna Grassie is the track to get the remix treatment from the wonderKiD. Track 5 of 6 is occupied by veteran DJ Solution who has been working on his solo production skills and gets busy remixing Kounta Kulture's underground anthem 'Valhalla', bringing a fire freeform onslaught of twists and turns and tempo changes. We're always excited to welcome new artists into the Stamina Records freeform fold, which is why when Obsys dropped these two demos through to us, we snapped them up straight away! Having already cut his freeform production skills on such prestigious labels such as ReBuild Music, Skeny Tracks, this promising production powerhouse has upped the energy for two massive club cuts destined to bring the Stamina vibes. 'Agony' is full on freeform rave - energetic and powerful bass, tight percussion, and an epic breakdown all leading to the pièce de résistance: an absolute KILLER main riff. The riff will have you reaching and the drop will finish you off - the energy levels are high in this one! Flipping it over for the Yang side and 'Escape' drops into trancier territory, evoking classic European freeform vibes thanks to its luscious musical content. Pianos, arpeggiated leads, big pads, all swathed in reverb for the ultimate in euphoric sounds, before a rolling bass and Obysys' trademark tight beats reign supreme on the drop. It's the collab you've all been waiting for..saved especially for our milestone 70th EP release! Conceived in lockdown but released for the masses to enjoy, it's A.B vs Digital Commandos with the epic journey that is 'Science Of Sound'. This is freeform at its fullest -  so don't dive in unprepared - as psy beats, eastern vocals, acid lines aplenty, crazy fills, DnB sections, operatic breakdowns, massive riffs, electric guitars, MC vocals, science lesson samples and MORE (phew) all collide to explode in one jam-packed creative unleashing of two freeform forces. With such a monster track to compete against on the Yang side, we dialled overseas and pulled in a big gun special rework from the one like SYNTHWULF. The first full non 4x4 track to feature on Stamina, the 'Wulf has delivered his filthiest neurostyle re-licking and it does not disappoint. Bass levels off the charts. So there it is, Stamina Records release number SEVENTY (!) as we continue to campaign for freeform beats for the masses...

Manchester's DJ187 has been active in the UK club scene since the mid 90s as a DJ and promoter, and can now add production to his credentials as well. He recently released a collaboration on Dean Beatz under the name Trance Alliance, and is now making his Altered Reality debut with a full 12-track LP. His production style is exactly what we love here at Altered Reality Records – a proper throwback to the 90s rave sound, accomplished with modern production values and techniques. Expect fast-paced beats from the start, with plenty of atmospheric synths and simple-but-catchy hooks throughout. With more than 100 minutes of music, this is a debut that's sure to make its mark!

A slight freeform edit I made of one of my favourite hard dance tracks. I wanted to play it out, but pitching it up to freeform speed ruined the awesome kick and bass. So I put a new kick & sub under it, added a dash of freeform elements, and it sounds rather nice. Now you can all have the wav, I hope any of you experiencing this for the first time check out the original and enjoy this absolute classic hard dancer. I will add mediafire links once download limit is reached, let's all hope the original artist / remixer doesn't object to the freeformising as I will remove it immediately if they object.
