Wax Stag - Sparkling River

A special White Night version of Dekopon Dance used in 360 degree projections by French duo Antoine et Manuel that took over the Dome Room of the State Library, Victoria for White Night Melbourne 2015. 

Alex Akers of FORCES gently edits Dekopon Dance with Sui Zhen for the special performance, which also featured Cayn Borthwick (NO ZU) on saxophone.

The "legendary Congolese band has joined forces with acclaimed Angolan/Portuguese artist Batida aka Pedro Coquenão."

Their sound is a spectacular electro-traditional mix.  With only rudimentary amplification and handmade instruments they have managed to  create otherworldly music for over 40 years.

They have collaborated with the likes of Björk and Herbie Hancock. 

Full length comes on on April 29th.
