The Natural Curve is a UK-based project from Norwich producer Paul Cullen. The track features delectable vocals from BBC Jazz nominated soul-stress Polly Gibbons and Serbian bass guitar guru Istvan Madjaric; fusing ambient rhodes chords with a funky bassline and sultry words scattered on top.

A bouncing baseline with early club production gives this track by @thenaturalcurve a pleasing air of nostalgia, which only adds to the captivating nature of the catchy lyrics. It’s not everyday you hear verse-form vocals in a house track which gets better with every listen, and this track really does.

We’ve been huge fans of Pacific Coliseum for a long time, so we’re very proud to present an EP with him on @slothboogie and who better to introduce the release than the man from Vancouver himself... 

'After four years, it feels amazing to return to my @pacific-coliseum project with the Breeze FM EP. This record came together in a really beautiful, collaborative way, between myself and the SlothBoogie crew. I sent over a handful of demos, and together we compiled and developed this record, which feels both fresh and true to the sound of my previous releases. 

I wanted to have the record bounce around a bit in terms of tempos and feels: Wine Host has a nice sunset, downtempo feel; Breeze FM taps into a deeper, jazzier sound; Feel Free is a peak time Italo jam. Something for everyone! The whole thing is rounded off with Tech Support’s remix of Feel Free, which re-imagines the tune as an electro stomper. I’ve got a lot planned for this project in the year to come, and this feels like the perfect way to reintroduce myself to people.'

Dangerous Goods return to I Travel to You with ‘Wish’, a Street Soul inspired version of a 2001 R&B hit.

Featuring two new synth-driven takes recorded over the summer. The A side grooves over a popping Juno bassline, tight 808 drums, and a fresh vocal. The Deepest Dub mix was re-recorded then cut to tape and pitched down, influenced by the breaks and bass heavy productions of the late 80s and early 90s.

Tour-Maubourg Ensemble - Stay

Bay Area born and raised DJ and producer Papa Lu is family to Soul Clap, and he recently made his move to Los Angeles where he is making his mark on the house music scene. Lu is steadily building his collection of acid tinged, funky house burners, while also exploring Latin house.

For his debut on Soul Clap Records, he teams up with our friend, producer and the multihypenate The Whooligan on this thick track titled “Starting To Rise”, which continues the disco house vibe he brought with ASTU on "Red Hot". Once the beat drops, a strong Latin rhythm takes over with layers of syncopated percussion, adding a strong Cumbia house flavor to the diverse mix.

Lu's recent run of parties includes performances with Sven Väth, Walker & Royce, and Todd Terry

 Rhythm Section International proudly presents it’s 8th offering from local boys Chaos in the CBD. Born in New Zealand, but based in Peckham for the last few years (literally just around the corner from Henry Wu and Bradley Zero), these brothers have made a real mark on the scene here in London town and with their latest set of productions are set to take this message further afield. 
Having already released internationally on labels such as ClekClekBoom (Paris), Hot Haus (London) and Amadeus (Montreal), the duo’s approach to production has matured immeasurably in the last year, as is evident in the restrained potency and poetic subtlety on the 4 tracks across this accomplished EP, Midnight in Peckham. 
Taking it’s title from the locale the boys have come to know as home, the record channels a delicate late night energy - equally indebted to the hypnotic incantations of Ron Trent as it is to the hazy suburban atmospheres of Burial. These 4 classic cuts pay homage to deep house in it’s truest sense - at once sublime, melancholy and meditative . Chaos in the CBD have clearly taken their cue from the mid-west masters of the genre but have not been afraid to let their own influences and environ creep in, and in doing so have created something that is unmistakablely London and infact, timeless.
