Vancouver stalwart Liv Carmen a.k.a Regularfantasy has come a long way; from singing in a choir, being part of a R&B band, getting her hands dirty with plethora of musical instruments, to founding her first comfort zone in rock music, she finally experimented the playful Canadian underground dance scene during her early 20s. Her borderless creativity stems from her eclectic music tastes, which helps her feel like a fish in the water when effortlessly producing devastatingly dance-driven leftfield house for maximum club effect as well as balmy vocal-driven deep house. Influenced by timeless 90s house jams from MK, Ian Pooley or Daft Punk, her evocative productions have been warmly welcomed by top quality labels such as Mood Hut, Heart to Heart or Pear. Besides, multifaceted Liv has been fluttering around between solo projects, Plush Management Inc. where she shares mental vibes with most in vogue producer D. Tiffany, and Ciao where she plays wacky and energetic live sets with her collaborator Void Mirror.

We are ardently convinced she is an artist to keep an eye on in the coming years, and this catchy and vibrant set filled with fresh material is living proof. Grab your headphones and feel the lively house vibes from Adeva, Saint Etienne and The Opious Project.

Manuel Darquart are a UK via New Zealand-based duo who have managed to make quite a name for themselves in a short period of time. Blazing onto the scene in 2017 with their Dippin & Tripping EP on Coastal Haze, they've since gone on to release on labels such as Childsplay, Infinite Pleasure as well as Soothsayer and now have a new EP, coming out on the renowned WOLF Music staple. Their own brand of music, though it has evolved over the years, has still retained a very identifiable quality. We got a chance to ask them some questions about their life during quarantine, how they'd describe their own music and what the future holds. An undeniable showman, this mix gets the full Proper treatment; expect unpredictable blends countered with eclectic selections, all wrapped up with a healthy dose of twisted soul and groove. It’s that diverse sound which has carved out a name for himself since his first string of releases on Rush Hour many moons ago in the mid 2000’s;  and still rings strong  on his upcoming record on MUSAR, riffy, bassy and everything you associate with the San P sound.

He shares a genunie passion for music, a real spice of life and genuine good guy.

This mix is such a pleasure to share, I really enjoyed hearing his perspective of the ~Balearic~ sound.

He has been running underground parties and a mix series under the Midnight Boil collective over the past few years.
