London based @Hyasynthe pulls up slowly building delight, Aurora. Particles shuttle around in the upper atmosphere, causing reddish and green hues to dance, all as that same sample loops over and over, building, waxing and waning. How can the producers use of Ableton 10, 808’s and your own heartstring have such an effect on the magnetic pole of the earth? we're completely unsure. 

We never thought something with so emotionally driven, and many hued could be birthed from someone hailing from Milton Keynes; what some call the Jewel of the Buckinghamshire heartland, but most consider the complete antithesis. Opposites attract, we suppose but this sonic sonnet is one to be saved, that’s for sure.

His time here on earth was done and soon he would dance amidst the heavens in a new life beyond the stress and strife of the streets below. He was a soul out of time, a man without a life to live and a floating spirit which would transcend what we ever thought to be possible down upon planet earth. It was going to be a long journey upwards but it would be worth the wait. 

Westcoast Goddess is set to release a new EP on Slam City Jams - an EP which showcases the very best in feel good house music and dancefloor spirit. It comes off the back of releases for Heart To Heart Records and under the guise of Videopath for Shanti Celeste's Peach Discs.

US midwestern gem Ilana Bryne is back on Naive and, once again, she's got you covered for grade "A" contemplative-but-propulsive groovers, perfectly timed for these trying days. Like her debut EP "Low Earth Orbit" from last year, "Strange Adventure" layers sharp rhythms and playful touches with ethereal atmospheres and open spatiality. But stagnating she is not; her pristine production turned even brighter on this one, reaching a level of sonic and compositional finesse that has to be heard to be believed. 

Profound musical influences come through in this premiere's 'Used To Love T H E M', through echoes of Chicagoans like Glenn Underground, Gemini, and Boo Williams, tempered to perfection with the floaty atmospherics and chopped breaks of LTJ Bukem and other masters of liquid DNB. Delicate synth sequences illustrate loving dialogues between bass bin-busting subs and suspended Rhodes chords or airy pads, traveling through dynamic arrangements, with the odd moment of suspense done fresh.
