Название исследования отсылает к книге Корнея Чуковского о детской речи «От двух до пяти», но означает, напротив, доречевой этап развития ребенка. «От нуля до одного» воспроизводит экстремальный опыт близости, обеспеченной невербальными кодами, обменом сигналами и желаниями в предельной материальности и плотности звука.

Sometimes I find myself stuck in a world of my own imagination. It's similar to my headspace, but instead, things happen around me in the real world, like a child watching their imaginary characters in the real world pass them in the backseat of the car. It's a very interesting space where the flow of time is constantly altered. Sometimes these characters or overlayed images in my mind help keep me grounded in the current time, so I soak in everything there. And sometimes they help me pass the time by keeping me distracted. This song is about that grappling with time. Living in a world where time sometimes feels inconsistent.
