This is the second song of the upcoming BLUE SPACE Compilation. Named after my event series at the legendary Paloma Bar in the heart of Kreuzberg / Berlin the whole project consists of 12 unreleased songs by incredibly talented artists and will be out in September. If you have been to one of the parties you already know what to expect: various sounds from left field hiphop, disco and house, to UK Garage, soulful bass music and back.

For the second single we proudly present DANVERS. With his release "Interludes" on WotNotMusic last year, he blew our minds. His signature sound continues on "Keep Holding On". Enjoy!

Broken District presents Brokenbits, a series of digital - only releases featuring fresh productions from the label - affiliated talents. In pure Broken District style, the first volume of Brokenbits explores multiple fields, from hip-hop, to house and electronica, including musical works crafted by artists Duktus, Jeppe Wolmer, Jus Jam and SofaTalk. Duktus opens the EP with “Bubbels”, a sunny hip hop instrumental for the cali lovers. It’s followed by a naive House ballad from Copenhagen, produced by the artist Jeppe Wolmer. Both artists are returning visitors of the Broken District, having already released a couple tracks on the French imprint for the past years.
Up next is label cofounder Jus Jam, delivering again his smooth House recipe for true dreamers and constant long - haul flyers. Last, but not least, Italian artist SofaTalk seals the deal, making his debut in the Broken District territory with a beautiful twisted ode to the blaxploitation sound. SofaTalk will be back soon on the label with his first mini LP called «South Side». Keep your eyes peeled! In the meantime, welcome back to the Broken District

Gabs grew up in Valparaíso, Chile and started her music adventure as a bassist / singer in a rock band - after she left her home country she got into playing DJ sets focused on groovy and jazzy House, Disco and Hip Hop. At the start of this year she got into vinyl — playing everything we have in our studio — and just a week later she smashed a vinyl set on our club night at Badehaus Berlin!

Danish producer and pianist, Uffe makes his On The Corner debut, with "Free House", a killer slice of off-kilter dancefloor madness. Taken from the forthcoming 'Door the Cosmos - Dancefoor Sampler', an 8-track compilation of club-centric but very unpredictable bangers. 

Having built a healthy reputation for producing increasingly jazzed-up and gnarly house, across labels such as Tartelet, Pets, Delusions of Grandeur and Bluberry, Pete OtC finally tracked him down back home in Denmark and managed to prise this gem from him.

On the Corner Records was awarded ‘Label of the Year’ at the Worldwide Awards 2018. OtC is a story of artists and scenes that goes way beyond being a record label. DJ, label owner Pete On the Corner has created a home for innovative, border-crossing, genre-pushing artists. The OtC vision is to bring music to the world that is knocking at the ‘Door To The Cosmos’. The label is an inimitable mixture of Miles Davis ‘call it what you want’ attitude, Sun Ra’s Afro Futurism and the ecstatic soul lifting influence of black music on electronic dance music.   

On ‘Door To The Cosmos – Dancefloor Sampler’ Pete has curated a volume of cuts from present and future label family. This first in the series, is not just knocking at the door but giving it a kick! It’s club music referencing the source, be it Detroit, or UK bass culture combined with future sounds rising from cosmopolitan hotbeds of sonic heat. On this maxi EP Venezuela meets India via New York, the street sound of Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania pulses through UK Jungle. Undergrounds pushing the dance, breaking borders and genre alike. Rhythms from the ancestors channelled for future times.
