Another experiment.

Reaktor 6, again. Quite a simple ensemble consisting of a clock, Bento Box 8 step sequencer, Bento Box ADSR envelope generator, two Brett Blocks Dual LFOs, two Monark oscillators, Bento Box mixer and a Rounds delay.

The 8 step sequencer plays a simple GACGCAGF sequence in a ping pong style.

I use the Dual LFO blocks to modulate a load of stuff.

The output from Reaktor has a send to a bus with Adaptiverb in the FX bin. The send is set to pre-fader so that I can bring the Reaktor fader down to "inf" and feed into the Adaptiverb bus separately.

The beginning of this piece is, therefore, just the Adaptiverb bus. The  Reaktor sequence fades in later.

The only automations in Sonar are for the Reaktor audio fader, the Reaktor send to Adaptiverb and the Adaptiverb bus fader.

Track based on a Reaktor patch by Synkotron. Synkotron's patch was realised in Eurorack as close as possible.

2 * RYO Airtenuators acting a attenuators for Clouds control CVs

Recorded in one take using Ableton. EQ and Compressor Effects added. Post recording automation on mixer level and panning on some tracks.

I love listening to & creating ambient, dark ambient, avant-garde & experimental electronica (and the occasional beatscape). I have no professional aspirations  - I just really like creating music / manipulating sounds. It's my way of relaxing after a hard day at the office. All my tracks are produced using monitoring headphones (Audix A140) so I recommend that you listen to my music through headphones. My DAW of choice is FL Studio. I also use Reason every now & then. 


To the artists I follow; I do my best to try to listen to as many of your tracks as possible each night (I listen to each track all the way through - you went through the effort to create a track so you deserve to have it heard in full). If I miss a recent upload of yours, please forgive me...
