Gesprochene Steine“ Klagende Steine" - "Sprechende Steine"

Bei einigen meiner zahllosen Spaziergänge durch meine Stadt Hamburg, mein altes Stadtviertel Altona, begegne ich häufig diesen so genannten „Stolpersteinen“ die in manchen alten Straßen in den Fußweg verlegt wurden. 

Sie liegen so unscheinbar da. Ich lese Namen, Geburt und Todestag jener Menschen die hier einst lebten. 
Blicke auf und manchmal steht sogar noch das alte große Gebäude wohin die Steine den Weg weisen.
Sie sind mahnende Gedenksteine von Ereignissen tiefster Finsternis.
In vielen deutschen Städten und Gemeinden auch in Hamburg wo ich lebe, wurde die jüdische Bevölkerung verfolgt, deportiert und ermordet.
Ein sehr dunkles Kapitel meines Landes.
Ich verspüre eine Ohnmacht über das unfassbare Schicksal dieser Menschen.
Ein in Stein gemeißeltes Gedächtnis und Vermächtnis. Sie sind nicht mehr Namenlos. 
Sie haben hier gelebt. 
Dennoch sind diese Menschen für immer verschwunden.
Ihre Stimmen, ihre Künste, ihre Kraft, ihre Bräuche.
Diese Steine mahnen, rufen und sprechen häufig zu mir, wenn ich über diese Steine gehe. So empfinde ich.
Bleibe stehen, verweile, gedenke unser.
Ich höre stumme Schreie, wehklagen. Sehe schemenhaft, umherhuschende dunkle Schatten. 

Dies veranlasste mich zu dieser düsteren und traurigen Komposition.
Denn ich finde keine Worte mehr. 
Die Steine sprachen zu mir. Es sind „Sprechende Steine“
„Singende und klagende Steine“

"Spoken Stones" "Wailing Stones" - "Talking Stones"

On some of my countless walks through my city of Hamburg, my old district of Altona, I often come across these so-called "stumbling blocks" that have been laid in the footpaths of some old streets.

They are so inconspicuous. I read the names, dates of birth and death of the people who once lived here. Look up and sometimes even the old big building still stands where the stones point the way.
They are admonishing memorial stones of events of deepest darkness.
In many German cities and communities, including Hamburg where I live, the Jewish population was persecuted, deported and murdered.
A very dark chapter of my country.
I feel powerless over the incomprehensible fate of these people.
A memory and legacy carved in stone. You are no longer nameless.
You lived here.
However, these people are gone forever.
Their voices, their arts, their strength, their customs.
These stones often admonish, call and speak to me when I walk over these stones. That's how I feel.
Stand still, linger, think of us.
I hear silent screams, wails. See vague, scurrying dark shadows.

This prompted me to create this somber and sad composition.
'Cause I can't find the words anymore
The stones spoke to me. They are "talking stones"

What should I dare become?
Ready drifter, astro-naught,
multi-hyphenate creative?
Beginning on the margin again
Beginner, constantly "un-"
Constantly blown by solar winds
My follicles untether
Rods skip cones, my focus
pan-galactic smithereens
What flakes of sound can write this SNOW?
in which now loses as "S"
and then an "O"
What next?

I've never advanced a single step
Equilibrium, homeostasis
Tight fit, clinging fabric of pulsar
Entropy, everything so near,
no city, no center.
Just a fan blowing a breeze
for no face. Just a poem
spoken for, broken from
a gathering of the nations of words!
Who-hoa. Heart-beat caldera
Glowing blind, thumped
in hunch-back gloom

Must mist sybilline whispers

The poem really starts to come to life
when it being read for the first time
as if it were being written in the mind of the reader
who does a double-take, trying to figure
where it all comes from, where it's going
where the poem is coming from
inside itself, siphoned outward

Song is made by using Egyptian pentatonic scale. It has a major kind of mood with lot of sus chord soundin melodies.

I have here my own songs which are somekind of melodic experimental/ improvisations and ambient sounds. Also my versions of different jazz standards.

Almost all tracks are free to download and covered by a Creative Commons license. Collaborations / Remixes are welcome so feel free to experiment - no need to get my permission first. Just send me a link to your track when you're done :)

I love listening to & creating Ambient, Dark Ambient & Experimental electronica (and the occasional beatscape). I have no professional aspirations  - I just really like creating music / manipulating sounds. It's my way of relaxing after a hard day at the office. All my tracks are produced using monitoring headphones (Audix A140) so I recommend that you listen to my music through headphones. My DAW of choice is FL Studio. I also use Reason every now & then. 


To the artists I follow; I do my best to try to listen to as many of your tracks as possible each night (I listen to each track all the way through - you went through the effort to create a track so you deserve to have it heard in full). If I miss a recent upload of yours, please forgive me...
