To participate in the Haiku Music challenge::

- Make a song in response to the weekly assigned poem (a new poem is published every Wednesday)
- When choosing a title for your piece also include the assignment number, for example “Title of your track (naviarhaiku382)”

- If you’re a Soundcloud user, upload it on Soundcloud and send me the URL via private message, or tag me in the track.
- If you upload your music on Youtube, Bandcamp or anywhere else, upload your submission and then send me the link by email at marco@naviarrecords.com or contact me on X, Facebook or Instagram

Reaching the milestone of 200 chapters in the "TAFFETA" journey, I am are overwhelmed with gratitude for all of you who have been with me from the beginning and those who have joined along the way. Your unwavering support has truly been the lifeblood of its creation, inspiring every chapter. "TAFFETA" is not just a musical endeavor; it's a shared experience, one that has been enriched by your presence and engagement. Thank you for allowing these stories, born from dreams and shaped by tragedy, to hopefully resonate in your lives.

I use a complete hybrid of organic & electronic sounds within the scope of the Taffeta project. Nothing is out of the question and no limits are set on how things may evolve one way or another.

Ōshima Ryōta was a Japanese poet of the Edo period. Some sources say he was a disciple of Yosa Buson, while others say his master was Hattori Ransetsu. He's mostly remembered for his essay “Bashō ku kai” 芭蕉句解 ('Study of Bashō's haiku') published in 1759, a magnum opus of his studies and literary theories on Matsuo Bashō's work.

I love listening to & creating ambient, dark ambient, avant-garde & experimental electronica (and the occasional beatscape). I have no professional aspirations  - I just really like creating music / manipulating sounds. It's my way of relaxing after a hard day at the office. All my tracks are produced using monitoring headphones (Audix A140) so I recommend that you listen to my music through headphones. My DAW of choice is FL Studio. I also use Reason every now & then. 


To the artists I follow; I do my best to try to listen to as many of your tracks as possible each night (I listen to each track all the way through - you went through the effort to create a track so you deserve to have it heard in full). If I miss a recent upload of yours, please forgive me...
