We were honoured to have been part of the Quorum's Power Lunch series in Lusaka in June! Our Head Collateral, Musopelo Chilongoshi, was part of a panel and presented the Bank's insights on the country's real estate sector and property development under the theme: "Perspectives from the Bar, the Bank, the Developer.”
One key issue addressed to stakeholders was an explanation on why interest rates on mortgage facilities remained high in Zambia. We were also pleased to have engaged members of the audience, who included Law Association of Zambia (LAZ) president, Lungisani Zulu, to exchange ideas on the availability of finance to develop the real estate sector.
