Another layer on the evolution of this composition for my play, BEFORE AND BEYOND MEMORY.

Before And Beyond Memory, Take 5, 5 - 16 - 15. Stan Shawnee Boyd

I am a composer, trumpet and keyboard player and singer. I have uploaded a few covers, but for the most part what I upload on SoundCloud is my original work. I am of late a playwright. Many of the compositions on my current tracks are from my play,  STRANGERS, a completed script, score and sound track and on its way to staging. I suppose much of what I write could be classified as jazz/classical fusion, jazz in the third stream. I also tab my uploads occasionally as music theater. STRANGERS is a music theater play, in the vein of KNEEHIGH THEATER'S productions which I greatly admire. I'm always curious and interested in collaboration. Two of my tracks currently on SoundCloud are collaborations with the brilliant cellist, song writer, arranger and all around fantastic musician, Michael G. Ronstadt. Listen to a very fine album, ANCIENT AND UNENDING on SoundCloud that Michael recorded with the virtuoso guitarist, Bobby Fisher. Through the magic of MIDI I am able compose music with other artists remote from my home studio. This capability is thrilling to me. I want to do more of this. I believe SoundCloud is a catalyst for this kind of world wide sharing of talent and ideas.
