Demian Feriy is a musician, producer, and media artist. His musical journey began with classical guitar, multi-genre electronics, and progressive rock. Today, his work can be described as a fusion of dungeon synth, dream punk, neoclassic, and industrial. Released on labels such as Mystictrax, СИСТЕМА, Klikerklub, and Kyivpastrans, Demian creates innovative music projects that blur the lines between genres and sound unique both in the studio and live.

New release from Miasma of the Real, performed by Mires at Concert Hall on 10.11.2024.

Mires is the project of Dmytro Borysov, an electronic musician, graduate of Mirage Camp (2021), and curator of the shows Placid Tones and Dubs on Gasoline Radio.

This live set is crafted from field recordings collected over 2023–2024. It reflects on global and personal transformations, the fragility of stability, and intimate thoughts and experiences. Mires also explores the relationship between humanity, nature, and technology in the modern world.

Few producers embody the contradictions of our era as viscerally as Pavel Milyakov, better known under his alias Buttechno (@buttechno). First emerging from underground with a body of work that oscillated between post-industrial techno and introspective ambient, Milyakov has since shifted his practice towards deeper sonic and conceptual terrains. Now based in Berlin, he operates equally as composer, collaborator, and cultural agitator — using music as a vessel to process historical trauma, collective memory, and the psychic toll of authoritarianism. Whether channelling harsh noise into haunted minimalism or scoring fractured rave anthems with meditative restraint, his output refuses easy categorisation. Across projects with artists like Bendik Giske, Lucas Dupuy, and Martyna Basta, as well as his PSY X label, Milyakov crafts spaces where vulnerability and resistance coexist.

As Buttechno, Milyakov continues to challenge what techno can hold: abrasive textures meet hypnotic repetition; dancefloor urgency meets political grief. His sets, like his productions, exist in a tension between euphoria and erosion — propulsive yet frayed, euphoric yet elegiac. A fierce opponent of neo-imperialist ideologies, Milyakov has used his platform to denounce war crimes, reroute funds toward humanitarian efforts, and elevate lesser-known voices from the margins. From early cult releases like "Eastern Strike" to his recent frost-laced "lost sounds" EP, his sonic language has grown expansive, intimate, and defiantly plural. In this week's mix, expect a deep and atmospheric set that not only moves bodies, but also challenges histories, offering not escape, but confrontation, communion, and transformation.

Ostudinov is the leftfield project of Dmytro Ostudinov, a member and co-founder of the Peauty Fute collective and the Shuffle party series. He’s also known under the alias Hatroneli. His performances often merge both projects, placing the listener between heavy, dark soundscapes and lighter, dance-driven music.

"Jacaranda is at it again after a prolonged break caused by a number of reasons, but now we are back on track, hopefully.

The first post-break mix was recorded by a friend of mine — LD Joseph.
Louis was born in Switzerland and started playing music while living in Bern. I’ve heard him play couple of times here and there – every set hit the spot, so I couldn’t resist offering him to share his taste in music with fellow Jacaranda listeners.

This mix could be best described as psychedelic, experimental and dub-ish with a techno in a base."

∄ is a cultural institution in Kyiv, established in 2019 on the territory of a former brewery, located at 41 Kyrylivska Street. It serves as a multifunctional space for club events like ∄ Community Events, Curated By, Enareї, for experimental music concerts like Miasma of the Real and other cultural events.

∄ also manages the in-house music label Standard Deviation. Established in September 2020, Standard Deviation is a multidisciplinary label for music, art and publishing, cultivating creative exchange between an aspiring Ukrainian scene and a global community.

K41 is the community-born name of the institution embraced and widely used by the public.
