Our mission is to preserve and share humanity's stories in order to build connections between people & create a more just and compassionate world.

kachinlifestories is an effort to encourage Kachin around the world to record their stories through text, sounds, images and videos. Capturing their everyday through words, pictures, videos and voice, we urge Kachin people to upload these moments into various social media platforms such as twitter, instagram, soundcloud and tumblr. We also highlight the importance of tagging (#kachin) these moments to bring out the unique but everyday circumstances of the Kachin people living in different parts of the world. We believe that these stories, when combined, will create a knowledge of Kachin that is current, diverse, and dynamic; a voice that is small, yet powerful.

Empowered by the Power of the Holy Spirit through the Word of God, KBCS is a worshiping and witnessing community in Singapore for the Glory of God. KBCS conducts worship services in Kachin (Jinghpaw) and Burmese (Myanmar) languages.
