The SOL Podcast (aka Standing Out Loud) is all about the Chicago rock music scene. We will be talking to artists, bands, producers, roadies, merch guys/gals, photographers, promoters, and anyone else involved in this beautiful city's music scene, whether they're from Chicago or simply passing through!

Kevin Andrew - Kevin is the bassist and vocalist in El Famous, and in his spare time sings for his side project Guardrail. Played shows in this scene for the better part of the last decade, and you'll find him at shows with a drink in his hand if he's not on the stage. Interests include: punk rock, Jameson, blink-182, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, headbanging, deep dish pizza, The Office, iced coffee, long walks on the beach.

Chris Evans - Not to be confused with the Captain America actor, Chris is Kevin's roommate and an avid concert-goer. In fact, Chris met Kevin at Warped Tour and bonded over Unwritten Law. If not at a show or sleeping, he can be found doing security at Headquarters Beercade in Chicago. Interests include: mosh pits, memes, Zebrahead, M&M's, The League, Deadpool, whiskey, being allergic to cats, secretly following Kevin on the beach.

BlurdDotRadio brings together black nerdery from every corner of Chicago and the rest of the world. BlurdDotRadio's goal is to bring blerding culture into a sphere similar to hip hop culture by promoting our version of the blerd lifestyle. BlurdDotRadio characterizes the elements of Blerding as: literature (comic books, afro-futurist literature, etc), movies/TV, music, gaming, and cosplay, but we seek out and explore all avenues of black nerd-itivity. Hip hop has been defined as "What the people are doing", blerding works under the same rubric. BlurdDotRadio is a soap box for what black nerds are doing. Prolez are a Falmouth Punk Band that inject fury and pace into their sets. With Kizzy Porter, Angus Roberts-Carey and Rhys Harrison; making up one of Falmouth's fastest bands. Prolez also blend Reggae and Surrealist Performance art to their elliptic musical style.

The Espresso Broz' Jules, Jamie and Jase, will delve deep into topics that may or may not include coffee. We will feature all of our Instagram bean, cafe and coffee accessory reviews. Arguments will arise, friendships will be tested, espressos will be had. This is the Brozcast.
