Hello everyone!  Above you'll find the download links for the complete Zero Day SFX Library and the Reaper Project and Session files.

This soundcloud playlist features sketches and exploratory content created while working on Zero Day - all creative commons and royalty free for download and use in your creative projects.

The SFX Library has about 650 sounds used in and created for the film.  There are also tons of sounds created specifically for this library that were inspired by the overall theme and visuals of Zero Day.

The project files contain multiple Reaper sessions along with all of the associated audio files. You'll need Reaper 5 to open the sessions and there are a few plugins that the sessions use (Altiverb 7, Speakerphone, Reaktor, and general Waves plugs) you don't need them to open the session but will need them to hear the project as it does in the film.

film summary
After the success of STUXNET, a virus written by the United States to destroy Iranian uranium enrichment facilities, the U.S. government could no longer deny it was developing cyber weapons meant to do physical damage. With US companies and agencies under constant attack from state-sponsored Chinese hackers, it is only a matter of time before tensions boil over and more sensitive infrastructure is targeted. As all of our possesions (cars, homes, etc) become connected, we will become more and more vulnerable to the physical threat of cyber warfare.  

director statement 
This film has been released entirely under Creative Commons for any commercial and non-commercial work. All associated assets and project files will also be released to encourage people to remix and repurpose as they see fit. I would like to see more film makers take this approach as I believe this is the next phase of film making where the director is the person who merely 'starts' the conversation instead of the 'final say' on any subject. I believe films should be open source to help motivate to the community to inject their own viewpoints on a subject and push the conversation forward.
