"I'm Getting Sentimental Over You" is a 1932 song first released by the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra.  It is one of my all time favorites to play.  It seems to be a perfect template for all manner of styles.

The idea for this song came to me randomly while driving down some backroad a few years back, and I recorded the initial idea spur of the moment. For whatever reason, the rather morbid theme came out in the process and I just went with it. Nat is a daring soul and surprisingly encouraged that we record it and with her considerable help we fashioned this recording. Notable is that Nat has taken on the ability to add some beautiful pedal steel guitar throughout the song using her well established keyboard skills and this first run at it was very satisfying.
