Horror and fantasy night

In a world consumed by today's tragedies, we easily forget the past and are once again on the brink of a Cold War. The 1980s brought us New Wave, Punk, and commercially successful horror films, all while under threat of nuclear war. A unique nostalgia for this era is woven into the fabric of contemporary culture. We are on the verge of experiencing a horror like no other with major forces lurking in the shadows.

A thousand times

This started with a very beautiful piano piece by Tom, then advanced by Jussi’s great electric guitar lead. I added an imagined lyric about someone not being able to commit to a relationship and the song was completed by Boon’s excellent acoustic guitar work. Thanks to all for their wonderful contributions. Thanks everyone for giving this a listen. Much appreciated by us all.

Started as a basic piano and vocals track, but I took it down and added some new elements. Very happy with Roger's amazing work on this! Harmonies, moi, and Jen DB.

I dedicate this composition to everyone who’s lost their course in life for a moment.
A riptide is a narrow channel in a sandbank where the water rushes strongly out to sea.
And to get out of it you have to do something that feels very unnatural: first let yourself be carried along, and only then swim left or right, back to calmer water and the shore. I think that’s a beautiful image for how we can sometimes deal with life.
