Craving

A somewhat surreal and odd glide through abstract electronic sounds. I think I like the outcome. Kinda raw mix, exploration took me places and I think it's strangely dreamy. :D But perhaps good enough! Earphones mix? (sorry about that, that's what I have available at the moment) Hope it sounds interesting!

Laissez-vous emporter dans un état nommé  In Māra, un voyage à travers un rêve en eau intérieure.
Nous plongeons dans une valse rythmée par les interruptions abruptes d’un discours, où l’imperceptible et l’imprévisible nous invitent à habiter l’indéfini. L’auditeur se retrouve projeté dans un espace hors du temps, aquatique, en suspension et onirique.
Cette pièce explore une zone de friction entre textures habitées et gestes fantomatiques, où coexistent des présences sonores à la fois précises et intangibles. Ces sons semblent tisser entre eux un langage caché, sensoriel, une communication subtile et intuitive. Chacun répond à l’autre par des voies sensibles, non verbales, comme s’ils refusaient de dévoiler l’entièreté de leur potentiel.
In Māra est une tentative de rendre audible un monde intérieur en constante évolution où l’équilibre émerge du déséquilibre, comme une pulsation vitale. Un rêve aquatique, vivant, et fragile, où nos mythes se diffusent au travers des plis du son.

In Mara

Music inspired by the great musical works with the same title by Mozart and Schubert, FANTASY has multiple themes contained within a single movement.  Composed in 2020, after four months of isolation at home in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, I was sorely in need of fantasy. Reality had been too depressing. This music helped to lift my spirits. As music does, it arrived from and sings to another more hopeful place.
