Stanley Hottek, the founder of the podcast, has been an active part of the electronic music scene in Leipzig since 1994, bringing his wealth of experience and knowledge to this project. This recording showcases the rich history of electronic music in Leipzig and celebrates the end of an era when the Gieszer 16 was an important venue for the local scene.

First Part:
Take a trip back in time and rediscover the roots of electronic music with the first release from the Bermuda crew's final event at Gieszer 16 in Leipzig on December 3, 2016. Featuring an impressive lineup of local DJs including Demian, formerly known as Steffen EHK, this recording captures the essence of an era when electronic music was defined by a different sound than the current rave synths and leather hype.

Other talented DJs who performed that night included Madera, Paul A, Klangbild, Klima, and Stanley Hottek himself. The event also featured an impressive video installation by Freeze Tyler and Testvavve. Don't miss this opportunity to experience the sound of electronic music in its original form, and to relive a time when the scene was defined by a unique sound and vibe.

In the dark corners of Leipzig's electronic music scene there is a man who not only plays records, but celebrates them. Robert Müller, also known as Robert Mülli or Mülli Robert, is a real vinyl specialist with many years of experience and a deep connection to the Saxon city's lively scene.

Behind the decks, Müller stands out not only for his musical ability, but also for his humble presence. He prefers to act in the background and his record portfolio says more than words. As a supporter of various projects and friend of numerous artists, he has worked hard to earn his place in the music scene.

What particularly sets Müller apart is his dedication to analog sound. As an “only vinyl artist” he swears by the authentic experience that only vinyl can offer. His extensive music knowledge allows him to make a carefully balanced and high quality selection of records for his sets - an art that is often overlooked in the world of USB DJs today.

Müller has demonstrated his skills at various events, including the GroundzeroTeknoCamp and the Explepäng Community in Leipzig. With his unique style and friendly manner, he has conquered not only the dance floors but also the hearts of many music lovers.

Away from the spotlight, Robert Müller has built an impressive circle of friends who support him unconditionally. His modesty and his love of music have made him an integral part of the Leipzig scene. For those who believe that the era of vinyl DJs is over, Robert Müller proves otherwise - he is living proof that the crackle of a record can still set the heartbeat of the electronic music scene.

Today, we are excited to introduce our new Mixcast by Recovery.Issue, hailing from northern Germany near Rostock. His journey with electronic music began as a teenager in 2007. After spending over a decade exploring various musical influences at clubs and festivals, he made the decision to start mixing music for himself in 2022 as a result by the effects of the pandemic and the club shutdowns. The deep-house era around 2010 holds a special place in his heart.

Despite to recent musical trends, he has chosen to remain on slowing down, peaceful, and groovy sounds. He is dedicated to mastering the art of mixing in its original format—on vinyl—and has stayed true to this principle, ensuring that none of his sets contain a single digital track to this day. For him, this approach symbolizes a deep appreciation for the creators and the true artists behind the music.

We asked him to be the first to present a set of deep-house classics on vinyl for our channel, and he embraced the idea from the very first moment. The old records remain close to his heart and deserve to be heard more often. 🌈

Today, we are thrilled to share with you a collection of both old and new gems, inviting you on a little musical journey through time. We hope the algorithm appreciates it! 😀

WAZ is a Brazilian DJ and producer known for his hypnotic, groove-filled sets. The intense beats and carefully selected percussions create a pulsating, dancing atmosphere with the dance floor.

Currently a resident of @coletivo522, he has been present at several prominent parties and clubs. With a strong and immersive sound, it always provides a unique and unforgettable sound experience for those who enjoy underground sound.

No Rules is the uncompromising project of Lithuanian artist Vitalijus, who creates a soundscape from the post-industrial backdrop of Kaunas that lies somewhere between cold concrete, flickering neon lights, and dystopian club culture.

His sound thrives on raw textures, mechanical rhythms, and an emotional coldness that has more to do with reality than escapism. It's not about nostalgia, but rather about thinking ahead: EBM, industrial, darkwave, and dystopian pop merge in No Rules to create an aesthetic vision in which danceability meets dissonance, physicality meets fragmentation, and the future meets decay.

A sense of controlled tension dominates his productions and DJ sets – stoic basslines, distorted vocals, metallic pads, and relentless beats paint a picture of a world where the human factor pulsates between the cogs of the machine. No rules – just attitude.

No Rules operates on the fringes of established scenes, building its own platform of raw sound and precise aesthetics. No room for decoration, no room for compromise. Just sound. Just energy. Just truth.

Unser erster Gig in Frankfurt und gleich auf dem Mainfloor vorm Headliner: Der Plan sah also einen gepflegten Techno-Abriss bei knapp 130 BPM vor 🔊. Wenn die DJs so viel Spaß hatten, dass sie ihre Beine die kompletten 2 Stunden des Sets nicht still halten konnten und selbst noch bis in die Morgenstunden zum Feiern im Club bleiben, ist eines sicher. Operation gelungen!
Wir sind froh, dass wir das Ganze aufgenommen haben und euch zum Nachhören und Spaß haben zur Verfügung stellen können 🖤
