Star Creature Vibes Radio back again with a tuned up dosage. Went into the crates desperately seeking some spaced out audio escapism. Here in Chicago everything is moving in slow motion this time of year, so hard to tell what tempos even mean anymore. The days are dark and cold, but the vibes don’t have to be. Got into some zones a bit outside of the previous episodes orbits, a healthy mix of some new age astro folk, galactic gothic-type sea-side wizard in a forest funk. There’s been too many roofs in between my head and the stars and so had to let the music be my convertible.  Doesn’t matter what the speed limit is, we won’ t be coming close to it today.

First show of technically “Summer” here in Chicago. Los Angeles based Raquel Rodriguez fuses the subcultures of LA style in her music which she has been releasing on her own label over the last few years. Her recent ‘The 310, Part Two’ mini CD features the uptempo boogie style cut ‘We Go Together’ with live drums, bass, guitar and strings, The song caught the ears of JN who wanted to add his own take on the original and this is the result.
