Tony: "Nightmare" is right.
Jackal: Oh, so you hear them too!

Kris: DUH, FOOL !
Kris: JUST BREAK MY ♡ BROTHER OUT !

Tony: Brother?
Ames: Asriel...
Jackal: Oh, is... that what we're doing?

Kris: YEAH YOU'D BETTER BE !

[ Kris plunges the knife into their chest. It comes out of their back. ]

Kris: GET A ♡ LOAD OF THIS !!!

Jackal: KRIS!

[ Jackal falls to his knees. Tony crouches and silently reaches an arm around him, leaning against his back. Ames steps towards Kris, as a large cloud of darkness quickly emerges from their wounds. ]

Ames: I don't think they're here anymore...

???: IF YOU'RE NOT GONNA HELP.
???: MAYBE I CAN DO IT WITH SPITE POWERS WHILE YOU'RE NOT LOOKING.

[ The Desperation makes them play. ]
