Inspiriert von lokalen Rap-Grössen begann Starkus als 14-jähriger erstmals a capella und über Instrumentals zu freestylen. Ein halbes Jahr später verfasste er seine ersten Texte und nahm erste Tracks auf. Dabei hat er sich vor allem dem Conscious Rap verschrieben. Seine Texte sind daher mehrheitlich von politischen, geschichtlichen und sozialkritischen Inhalten geprägt, bieten aber auch immer wieder Raum, um Bezug auf biografische Ereignisse zu nehmen.
